  1. Sipple's grades tomorrow had better not be more than an "F" on play calling/game management/how-dumb-a$$-can-a-coach-get.
  2. Ah good, we stopped them. I guess that's good.
  3. End of quarter. Kicker being iced by the game rules.
  4. Are we going to be 3 - 5? Or 4 - 4? Man oh man.
  5. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And another huge check for our venerable Head "Coach."
  6. Ugh.. now I wish I could go back and change my prediction on the Contest Crib Minnesota game thread. Our D looks like crap.
  7. Huskers 32 Moles 22 Rushing 221 Passing 241
  8. Thanks for the disclaimer. Yeah, Trev's okay.
  9. Yup. You're old when you remember rushing the chain link fence in groups, knowing not all would be caught and have to pay the 35 cents to get in.
  10. Whether he travels to the game or not, my feeling is that the D will be over-the-top motivated to play extra fiery and strong for him.
  11. Well, unless we're going to root for our sandhill cranes or chimney rock, the Huskers is about it. Maybe carhenge.
  12. Not me, ether. Maybe nobody. That'd be cool.
  13. Some more problems behind the scenes. But more importantly, and a bit peripherally connected to that, a lot less ability to commit to his words. He has had that issue off and on throughout his career.
  14. Almost always is. As the first half of the season shows.. pretty close.
  15. Yeah Teddy's mom posted: "tore his ACL, MCL, and meniscus."
  16. What I learned: Yes Frost and crew have shown progress. Not the kind that we need in this conference to contend, though, apparently. We've won three games this season against Fordham, Buffalo, and Northwestern. We've lost to Illinois, Oklahoma (SEC but still as formidable as B1G), Michigan State, and Michigan. We still have Ohio State and Iowa out there waiting, along with Minnesota and Wisconsin. Purdue may be our last win this season. Hell I don't know, we sure contend in individual games, then lose them (thus not contending in the conference). I think that our coaches have maximized what we are capable of with these players. That's the progress.
  17. (removed.. meant for another thread)
  18. I'm with you on all of that with a bit of an issue about the D. And I can't STAND the wimpy, sissified, non-HUSKER whining about officiating by any Husker fan. We need ADULTS out there playing and coaching and cheering as fans, adults don't blame officials in games where we had chance after chance to exploit and take over the game. We've all seen some weird crap calls (thinking about Texas extra seconds at the end of a game, Buffs 5th down, and many more) but our D, our beloved Blackshirts, could not stop that top 10 team last night to the tune of 459 ground out and air delivery yards. That was the game, not the stupid calls.
  19. To state the obvious: HUGE difference between Michigan and Northwestern.
