That's true about Deion Sanders but Matt Rhule has those same questions for a guy getting payed 9.25 million dollars. He has had success at building programs but can he have sustainable success if or when he gets there? Nebraska is on a much bigger scale then Colorado. I also think that if we would have gotten a well established college coach that yes kids would leave but I don't think they would leave at the rate they are. Nebraska still isnt done having kids leave. That's the thing that SF talked about all the time the so called right kids for Nebraska. Im not sitting here blaming any kid for making their own personal choice to leave. All Im saying is if you love Nebraska and what they have to offer with a new start why leave? New coach, new staff your benefiting yourself with more knowledge to stay and a fresh start bc you know every position is up for grabs.

True this is my personal opinion that if Deion does take the Colorado job they are going to be a major player in the Pac 12 and are going to attract recruits with ease to go there.

Definitely sucks to lose him as a coach. I mean the defense did play way better regardless if it was against softer competition. Definitely a hugh loss We as Husker Fans will always admire you Coach Busch. Yeah I totally understand. I think he is fine now and just looking for a better opportunity. A power 5 program will take a chance on him. The thing at Alabama is if you take a step back for any reason you get passed up. That's the thing with Alabama they can replace guys with no ease and guys that want to play and not sit will leave. His situation could be the same thing as TF. Where the staff says he's not fit to play but the player himself knows or feels he is.

If Raiola is retained as the coach, we are all going to find out what type of recruiter he is and the longer this whole thing with MJ drags out IMO do not think he will be part of the staff. You would think its a bang bang I'm in it to win it.

But I thought the firing had nothing to do with him bc TA was the one that fired him thats why I asked the question. I could definitely understand what you mean with new staff coming in but bc TA fired him I thought it could mean something different.

I know Dave Ellis was a head of the times but since he got fired last night do you think it had anything to do with if he got passed up with the times meaning new or better ways to put weight on players or he wasn't living up to what Nebraska was paying for? So many possibilities as to why he was let go.

That's one player here who had a ton of hype that didn't quite live up to his potential. For me I believe it was the coaches that we had here that didn't develop him up to his potential.
