Well I didnt see this coming but apparently MJ is a coaching candidate for the Arizona State head coaching job. Im just a lost for words right now .

Well I hope there is a coach out there willing enough to come here bc if not I can't deal with Nebraska football sucking over the next couple of years. I invest alot of energy into watching and cheering for them and Nebraska has made some pretty poor choices over the number of years that I can't deal with much longer. Example by this hey Nebraska fans I'd like to introduce your new head coach Matt Campbell. I think he will be a fine coach here with better resources then the one he had at Iowa State. He fits our culture and he is a leader and developer and I feel he will win here. Please welcome him with open arms and oh yeah by the way the record he has this year or years past doesn't reflect the type of coach I want for these young kids.

Yeah me too. He held on to the ball to long bc the o-line didn't give him anytime for the play to develop. That's sad that the o-line is one of the worst in the country.

After every husker loss this season it drains me to even wanna watch football. It's gotten that bad for me and the worst thing is that I love when football comes around in September. Can we please have a hire in place soon bc the team is bad. They may play with good effort but effort only gets you so far when your team doesn't have great depth or great coaches. Id love the next coach to keep Mickey and Applewhite but that's not for me to decide. Nebraska needs to understand that recruiting and developing are going to get the program back into winning. You can't just be strong in one particular category and not others bc you seen how that has turned out for us in the past. Since Tom Osborne left the program Nebraska has had 5 coaches with a win percentage of 610 that's horrible. Go out and try to get the best available overall coach bc the fans deserve it bc this season is washed and a wrap.

Not necessarily. Needs a decent qb or some how get him the damn ball and please dear lord don't say I need to do a better job of fixing him a better game plan to get him the ball. Im tired of that. You had at least 2 weeks to prepare. We knew we were going to get smash mouth from Illinois but our offense has looked lost on what they wanted to do. Not good enough to try and run the ball and not good enough to block to try and throw the ball. Please can we get a established football coach that will bring kids here and develop them into studs to win.

Stupid question but if Ed O were to get back into college coaching why would he not want to come back as a head coach only? I ask bc he won a national championship so coming back as anything else doesn't make sense to me even if I would love for him to be the d-line coach.

Id take John Garrison at North Carolina State. Im pleasantly surprised most Husker Fans have not brought up his name more to be the offensive line coach.

Ok im just saying look at the support the coach isn't getting right now. The coach isn't even fired yet and people are talking about Deion Sanders being the next coach. I don't feel that kids decide to sit just bc the team is losing. But in the end Auburn will fire the coach and the university depending who they hire will bring good recruits in. If Auburn does decide to hire Deion watch out.

True but some kids know that they aren't ready to play. If you as a player don't feel capable of playing to your fullest then why even be out there? I understand its a team driven game but if you feel like you going out there for kick offs and punt run downs is it really worth it. Yes I know the difference if you have your best players out there on them to help the cause but asking true freshmen who still need to grow and build muscle to go out there and hopefully not get hurt is asking for alot. I understand the entitlement factor but some kids just aren't ready and the coach needs to understand that as well.

Yeah just another example of a Husker football player getting shafted. I mean yeah the team isn't doing well but that shouldn't matter at all. He is doing what he can to make the team successful. It's insulting to know that he isn't even thought of being a top wr in college. Yeah mid season doesn't mean anything except media people recognize what your doing. He should be recognized bc it shows recruits how great of a wr coach Mickey Joseph is.
