  1. Anybody know where Sherman is? Haven’t seen or heard from him since the spring game
  2. Saw him in multiple situations where you could tell he wanted to throw it down field, didn’t like what he saw and pulled it down and ran for 4 or 5 yards. Sims tries to force it in those situations and it results in a pic. give HH the keys for Christs sake. He’s stayed committed to this team for years without getting a shot. He’s a local kid. He’s paid his dues and with that performance last night, deserves to be qb1. I honestly don’t know if we come away with a win with Sims at the helm.
  3. If Shaduer gets hurt they are screwed. The chinks in the armor are starting to show. Wheels will fall off the wagon next week.
  4. That Fidone thought we were playing an away game? What was with shushing the fans on that TD? Silencing the haters maybe? I dunno it was weird. HH is a gamer. He played smart and didn’t look frazzled once. I guess you can have a field general and a freak athlete at qb after all. Granted it was NIU but never felt an impending sense of doom with him out there. Don’t know how sustainable trucking defenders every run is but it was great to watch. our defense reminds me of the blackshirts of old, attitude, gang tackling, violence. if sat can stay out of his own way and the offense continues to get better this could be a fun season
  5. Rhule is on some hardcore pre workout. Guy is going to need some chapstick lol
  6. Ohio state just scored more points in 7 minutes than we have in 2 full games….
  7. I know I offer a lot of criticism and I appreciate everyone’s respectful responses. I get what you guys are saying, not a good look to throw one player under the bus. I wasn’t really suggesting that, just something other than it was environment and other factors that Sims can’t control, sounds like a cop out. I’ll probably get hammered for this too, but at this point I would love to see them trot woche out there. Who knows he could be a gamer that can just go out there and run the offense with out turning it over 4 times a game. Plus it would put the other qbs on notice.
  8. I understand it’s easy for me to sit here and be critical. Being a coach is a tough job. I don’t envy sat or Rhule at all. And I appreciate your insight/ perspective. I agree throwing him under the bus isn’t good either, but it just sounds like they are giving him a pass were others did not.
  9. Thank you! No one is responsible but the qb in this case
  10. You have valid points. I’m just tired of hearing the same platitudes from coaches and not seeing any improvement. I know comparing the last regime to this one is like comparing apples to oranges, but it is disappointing to see the same old results, not in the losses but how we lose, this team needs to be exorcised.
  11. I’m talking about holding Sims accountable. I agree with you. Sat is holding himself accountable. but you bench grant for one fumble (which was actually a great defensive play on the Minny defender) and then essentially say we are going to keep trotting Sims out there as long as he’s healthy. I understand they don’t have a lot of options but it’s not a good look
  12. Honestly I don’t know. But it appears as though if he wasn’t injured there would be no doubt that they would be going with Sims this weekend. I don’t know about you but this is starting to remind me of the “Aw shucks, I think he played really well, things just didn’t go our way” tone we got w Frost and Martinez.
  13. Sure, but those turn overs weren’t on coaches or anyone else but Sims
  14. “Satterfield said the onus is on the staff to help solve the issue. Referring to Sims' dropped shotgun snaps against Colorado, he said: ‘We have to work during the week with more crowd noise. I have to do a better job of making sure we're utilizing certain snap counts with the motions we use. I've got to be smart with the play type, especially with the motions we're using, especially down in the student section where it got really loud. All of that comes into play. ... It's all of us, it's not just Jeff." I don’t know about any of you, but that does not sound like accountability to me. Blaming the snap counts and noise and basically everything else but Sims. If the ball hits him square in the hands that’s on the quarterback no one else. I guess it’s encouraging that he is thinking of ways to put Sims in a better position to be successful, but I don’t believe any of it makes a difference with this qb.
  15. When will this team understand we don’t need a freak athlete at qb. We need someone with a brain that isn’t easily rattled that can process information quickly. We need a scrappy gamer that can manage the game and stay ahead of the sticks and hold on to the ball.
  16. To be honest, went back and watched it again and I see what you mean about the shoulders, but having zombie arms doesn’t help. Also, how bad is Corcoran in that same play?

  18. Right? WTF is going on in Lincoln?!
  19. I’m just… I can’t… I’m having trouble wrapping my head around the fact I watched a HS football game the other night and not once did either quarter back muff the snap. We went from a qb that muffed snaps under center in 2AM to a qb that muffs snaps in shotgun…I just can’t anymore with this team.
  20. I see what you did there…lol. So what you’re saying is, it’s all Adidas fault…
  21. I like Kaelin, but he has been having a pretty meh season so far. Don’t know if he is going to be the jumpstart to this offense I thought he was going to be.
  22. Was watching Doc break down some of these plays with the Oline. And while they are still making fundamental mistakes (like having their arms outstretched in Pass Pro, like WTF are you doing Raiola?? Fix this s#!t!! It’s pathetic they look like toddlers out there) there are receivers, specifically TE, wide open on drag routes MULTIPLE times that he doesn’t even see. It’s concerning to say the least.
