I'm a fan. I can overlook the Sun Belt all I want. It makes no difference. All my preperations, meditating, and yelling at the referees from my basement has not helped Nebraska score one point in my life time, so saying "We're gonna crush them!!" really doesn't either. I know for a fact that my yelling at the TV has helped the Huskers win! In fact just last Gator Bowl, I was yelling at the tv during half about making plays and what do you know, good old Castille was paying attention! You too?

That's a mighty big "IF"... I seriously don't think that "IF" is quite as big as some think. Va Tech will will tough no doubt but let's keep some perspective here: Nebraska, simply playing their defensive assignments properly, which didn't happen in a lot of cases last season, will result in a much better defense. I look for the the Huskers to win 17-7. HuskerJen, we NEVER score 7 points at Lane.... Do you need a ticket? Would love to help you out, but you need to put up more than 17 to beat us in Blacksburg.... Hell I'll take a ticket, I only live about 5-6 hours away.

Good points, so more or less it would be a "greeting's" win. One that says "hello college football, my name is Bo Pelini, I love defense and defense loves me. My team went through some hard times over the last few years due to an experiment by some douche bag who passed himself off as a football coach. But don't worry, were back. My team is hard as nails and plays every snap as if it was their last. We run sideline to sideline, wreaking havoc and smashing whatever piece of garbage is in our way. We run to win, pass to look good, and tackle to ensure greatness. If you like winning, get use to losing. And if you don't like losing, then don't play us. I didn't give a grade {per se} IMO, I said I'm pleased with what he's doing for the program and I think he'll continue to make strides to return Nebraska to national prominence. That being said I tend to agree with the few others who said wait a couple of years and then grade his performance.

Seriously though, very pleased with the way things are going right now. And to think what could have been if Pelini was givin' the HC job the first time. Very true!! Who really knows though, maybe he really wasn't ready then? I think he was, but maybe he wasn't. Well that's why I put "could" in there, still it couldn't have been as bad as the Clownahan regime.
