My buddies and I used to go to that store every couple weeks when I was in school. Then we would have a beer tasting night, which eventually just turned into everyone getting trashed (shocking I know)

I'll allow an original coors from time to time. But if I want coors light, I just grab a Dasani or Aquafina

Blue Moon is my fav. beer to drink at a restaurant. I just had Summer Shandy a few weeks ago and might have become my favorite beer. I decided last night while I was out to dinner at Old Chicago that Im going to do their World Beer Tour, so I'll post any good beers I have while doing that for everyone. It might take me more than a year to complete, however, so bear with me. I hate you cuz I don't have an Old C's or anything like that around here Move to Omaha! I do think that there is something to that. Many stouts and porters have flavor profiles similar to coffee. I love dark beers and I drink about a pot of coffee every day. Actually . . . the only beer style that I usually avoid are IPAs. I only have them rarely . . . generally on the hottest days in the summer. I guess I just prefer malt and bitterness to oily hoppy-ness. I'm the same way, minus the entire pot of coffee each day. The only IPA I've actually enjoyed came from a brewery in Albuquerque. It kinda had a marijuana taste to it It's called the Marble Brewery if any of y'all are ever in ABQ.

I voted for KU simply because of Turner Gill. Then I'd say Oklahoma and Iowa State behind that. I only say Iowa State because of Paul Rhoads. He seems like a good coach and a decent guy.

I posted a link to that sweet video about Jamal Turner. That's worth, a point or at least an internet high five.

I hear ya. He basically said that Turner was able to go from taking reps at QB, then move over to WR and then have an awesome spring game. He thinks he'll be a great slot receiver that will help spread the defense for our running game. He also thinks Turner is going to be electric in the return game.

Look at this guys with all these delicious dark beers! I'm glad that you specified your Busch Light drinking. That's what my parents drink on the patio all the time. It's super cheap.

Coors Light is the shiznit and I've noticed a lot more people drinking it in the Sioux City area. If there is any beer that is watered down that award goes to Miller Light. I'll drink Coors Light first followed by Bud heavy and Bud Light. When I went to Vegas our hotel had a happy hour and only had 3 beers on tap which were Bud heavy, Miller Light, and Rolling Rock. I never tried Rolling Rock but it was pretty good and bought a case when I got back home. All of the guys that I saw at the bar were drinking Bud heavy or Rolling Rock. You're crazy man. I like you, but you're crazy. To be honest, none of the big company beers really belong in a "good" beer thread. Bud Light is a dirty rice beer, Coors is water , and in general, they're all made for mass consumption, not actual taste and enjoyment.

I can't belive you guys drink Coors Light and then turn around and talk about "taste" in other beers. That stuff is more watery than water. I don't think I've ever had Rolling Rock, and I've only seen chicks drink it. (Not dissing you guys, but it's true for these parts anyway) I'm a dark beer fan; oatmeal or chocolate stouts. Guinness is always a nice choice. We don't have a lot of choices around here other than the mega-corp brews. I'm not a fan of putting fruit in the beer. In my opinion, if the beer isn't good enough on its own, then you should drink something else. That goes for Corona too. That just tastes like skunky garbage.
