Here is the new name I found on the Trademark web site OMAHA NIGHTHAWKS Trademark page Thanks dude! I saw people talking about the whole trademark thing in the UFL forums, but didn't see a link and couldn't find it myself. I think Nighthawks is pretty cool though. Definitely better than the 4 the UFL offered up.

I agree with you on Machida. When he's at his best, no one can hit him. It's like he's a ghost or something.

FWIW: The Big 10 is 28-41 in bowl games since 2000 with 2 winning bowl seasons and 1 .500 bowl season. That's 40.58% in winning. 1 MNC in 3 appearances. The Big 12 is only 39-38 in the same time with 5 winning bowl seasons and 1 .500 bowl season. That's 50.65% winning. 2 MNCs in 7 appearances.

you have to realize that its not really going to be the big 10 anymore. just adding a team with Nebraska's caliber improves the conference greatly. you have OSU, Penn St, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan. I think that more powerful than Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Nebraska, Okie State agree 100% +1 As far as high caliber teams, I dont think the afternoon nap confrence has half of what th big 12 does. They pound on each other and get high into the rankings. Then they play a confrence with teams that know more than 2 passing plays and get schlacked. I.e. Ohio State...year, after year, after year. LMFAO at Afternoon Nap Conference!!

I wasn't really commenting on Gilmore, but there's obviously not a lot of learning/teaching/top talent/etc stuff going on. I was just saying you can't put it all on the QB considering the circumstances. Not that our QBs didn't make some poor decisions at times, just saying there are 11 guys on the field at the same time for a reason.
