  1. Sorry, nothing that is newsworthy here. However, I just want to say Thank You to @BigRedBuster @Mavric @Akees for all the hard work and updates. Get some rest because yall been at it all day. I know because I was reading and following along since 8AM
  2. I think that once we start hitting some passes consistently, the running game shall open up. And that will be a problem for opponents to defend.
  3. I'm still so happy about Raiola flipping from Georgia to Huskers. I'm just amazed and very excited and so appreciative. It's like we just had Thanksgiving, lost to Iowa, season is over, and then this happens. I never would have thought that.
  4. Mast has made an impact this year. Glad it wasn't serious surgery and will be back shortly we hope.
  5. Was ugly for quite awhile. Glad they fought back and got the W
  6. I do too. Nintendo but also Wii from a few years back. But sometimes when I see DK I hear the BK commercial jingle. My mind goes from Donkey Kong to "at DK, have it your way - Matt Rhule"
  7. Tale of 2 halves. It's like KSU pulled a Nebrasketball in the 2nd half. And the Huskers went all-Minnesota on them. It feels good. It feels good for once
  8. Yeah, could be truth about Howard to USC, and Malachi Nelson doesn't want to sit out again. He's too talented so I don't blame him going into Portal. Especially when your coach (Lincoln Riley) said he is the next Pat Mahomes (over and over). I'd rather have 2-3 years with Nelson than one year with a transfer kid for one season. Remember though, Riley went with Spencer Rattler at OU over Caleb Williams. Until Williams got on the field and proved he was better than what Riley thought between the two players.
  9. CFB is moving to 12 team playoff, and 9-3 might get you in (borderline), as long as you are in the SEC. Or perhaps from the Big Ten. So don't be so shocked. But also, look how much has changed in the landscape of college football within that past 4 years or so. NIL - players getting paid. Transfer portal. 12 team playoffs. Super Conferences (OU & UT to SEC.... USC/Oregon, etc to Big Ten). You get the point. If you can imagine, the playoffs might even make it to 16 teams down the road (meaning, in 3 years). Perhaps maxing out at 20 teams. 9-3 gets you in the playoffs, even if you didn't make it to a conference championship game (if that still becomes a thing). Why FSU and Miami to the B1G? Well they are not feeling it in the ACC, they see the ACC projecting downward while the SEC and Big Ten are projecting upward (and the $$$$$$ millions that come with it). And finally, if FSU and Miami want to come to the B1G, you let them and you accept them and you embrace them. You have the best of the West Coast, the Midwest, some of the East, and you add Florida. Otherwise, if you don't accept them, they will just go to the SEC. But it is their preference to join the Big Ten, and that makes it even more snazzy if you ask me. Hope this helps you comprehend the future of college football. NiL. Transfer Portal. CFB playoffs. Big Money. Big Payouts. Joel Klatt. State Farm. ESPN. Podcasts. Fox Sports. Gus Johnson. Pat McAfee. Bevo. College Gameday. Reece Davis. Matthew McConauhey. The world is upside down. And FSU & Miami would like to join the Big Ten Conference. Make sense to me and lots of people. Hope this helps you understand.
  10. One of the few QB recruits I followed. A "can't miss" prospect. Just waiting behind Caleb Williams at USC. This is huge. Maybe he go FSU, Michigan, Bama, Georgia, LSU or Ohio State. He's pretty good.
  11. Yeah. Someone also caught a pic of him today. At the park. "Run the Damn Ball" guy is excited.
  12. How about No, Scotty Don't! Ok maybe I misinterpret what you wrote. My bad. I'm excited, I think he real good.
  13. You are either overthinking or clearly out of your mind. Or trying too hard to put him on the bench and wait his turn. Let me run it down to you so it makes sense. - 3 years have come and gone, and he has been "The best HS QB prospect" across the board, or near it, year after year. The Best. Among the best. -He is 230lbs. He's 6'3. Do you think he needs time to sit and redshirt to get physically ready to play football? Think about that. -He played great in Texas. He played great in Arizona. He played great in Georgia. He's a great player. - He has three years before he can go pro. Why would you want him to sit out one year behind HH or Purdy for a year? 3 years and gone to be a Pro player. - Why would you think he needs to sit behind anyone? Has Nebraska had QB troubles over the years? Has Nebraska been to bowl games in 6 years? Do you sit and wait your turn, even if you are the best on a team that wins 4 or 5 games a year? That doesn't make sense. -Why do you need to have a transfer QB to come in and have him carry the clipboard? Did 2AM not start his true freshmen season and do Ok? You don't have to expect miracles during year one with him starting when he earns that right, with the best arm talent and physical ability on the team. I just think the idea to "redshirt him, let him sit back and learn and get physically ready so he can be great in year 3 and 4" is ridiculous. That's old 80's and early 90's thinking. If he's the best QB recruit in HS and bails out on Georgia, says "No thank you" to Alabama, USC, Texas, Ohio State, LSU, Oregon, Washington, etc, etc.......... you know he's already the best QB on the team. No offense to Haarberg and Purdy and Sims (who had to leave). Please don't tell me you have to wait your turn to play QB at Nebraska. The whole state and fan base will tell you "Well, if he's that good, get him out there on the field ASAP". Unless you like fullbacks and walkons.
  14. This would be the 2nd Greatest thing to happen this offseason. FSU & the U to the Big Ten with Nebraska?!!! Yes please.

    NFL 2023

Someday, we the Chigao Bears, will have a good QB again. Like Vince Evans and Bob Avellini. And it will make Butkus, Ditka and all of us so proud.

Let's talk about the Chicago Bears. And their future QB pick. And how the Bears will once again mess it up. Chicago Bears are on the clock.... 1. Caleb Williams, USC - pass - what? 2. Jayden Daniels, LSU - pass - what?? 3. Michael Penix, Wash - pass - what??? 4. JJ McCarthy, Michigan - pass - really???? 5. Bo Nix, Oregon - hmmm, pass 6. Drake Maye, UNC - He is a wet dream for the NY Giants & New England and all execs that love a QB from Duke, Kentucky or North Carolina that want to get burned again. Thankfully, the Bears pass (good job!) 7. Shedeur Sanders, Colorado - Not entering - but if he did, Bears pass because he has talent. 8. Jalen Milroe, Alabama - He beat Auburn, so the Bears are focused and excited about that. And as a Chicago Bears scout, this makes it very, very hard to pass on this alone - but they somehow they pass.....again. Which leaves the Chicago Bears, studying everything, and willing to take the best quarterback in the 2024 Draft....... Michael Pratt, Tulane Even though you cannot go wrong with any of the top 3 listed. Even #4 or #5 is still a good thing. Unfortunately, it's the Chicago Bears.
  17. We are barely in December. Some of yall are freaking out too much over a few QB guys in the portal. It's to the point that you don't know how you lived without them.

  20. Minn Timberwolf 17-4 best record in NBA. Seeing that isn't normal when you look at standings. But I give them props coming out of the gate. It's a long season, they have a good team. I don't expect them to sustain their early season success. Meaning, nobody is fighting for playoff seeding and closing out games as they do later in the year. But still, hats off to a very good start for Twolfves
  21. Wonderful. Just a really good flick at the theater, especially with the surround sound, the visuals and the buildups. I recommend any movie-goer to buy the tickets, grab a bucket of popcorn & soda, and see what's up. We couldn't decide if we wanted to have dinner before or after. Since we wanted to have Pho noodle soup (a favorite) we decided that we could eat before and enjoy popcorn during the show. And skittles & sour patches. As for the movie, well I agree with what rotten tomatoes fans think - 98% out of 100. Critics give it 97%, of course. I suggest you go see it with the same feeling as you did about the 2nd Top Gun movie. You have an idea, you don't need previews, you just want to sit back and take it all in..... AND let the movie tell the story. But, unlike Top Gun, there is a human element story in this flick that is so compelling. It can get dusty in the movie theater for some folks. Just keep in mind that this is a low budget Japanese movie, portaling an old monster movie of the past with the great Godzilla and Tokyo. 2 thumbs up IMHO
  22. Thanks G. Good for A&M & MSU
  23. Would be great if Huskers get him. I think some of the good portal players like McCord have an idea where they are going to go right before they enter the portal. But they can always change their pre-determined place of interest.
