  1. Thanks Rob, that sounds pretty cool. I think Husker Hounds is pretty cool on S. 84th in Omaha. Unfortunately the only time I get to drive back to the Big O is because of funerals anymore. I pay my respects, grieve, and then get trashed with my cousins and visit HHounds the next day before I return to Texas.
  2. Yah baby Yah!! Fellas I would guess it's not football related. He's still in high school, prolly dating a cheerleader who's messing with his head & dumped his @$$. Or maybe he got caught foolin' around? Remember these kids are still kids and high school can be tough on many of them. Just my two pennies worth. He'll be fine.
  3. That's some pretty impressive company. Although I think USC would be tied for 4th with Pearl Jam & Oregon.
  4. Complex? Oh come on, it's easy stuff... Red Right Tight F Left 20 HB Cut X-up Niner Niner Red Rum Blpbppttptppbppt~~ On three, on three!
  5. Good thing to mention Foppa. I will & have.
  6. A moth, yes. A rat, no. A cockroach, no. A chinchilla, maybe.
  7. Pointing fingers ----> It's ARs fault <---- Finger pointing He said give credit were it's due, OU looks like a NC contender... and they do. I agree. Totally. And I didnt read into anything else in his post, like let's stop playing football and give the Sooners the crown today. As for anything can happen after two games into the season........ well, duh.
  8. I'm sorry - but that was one of the funniest things I've heard in some time.
  9. It's 1-8-7 on an undercover cop... Yah... would suck to work on Sundays!
  10. He shouldnt worry about depth chart, b/c he has to sit out this year from transfering.
  11. Welcome to the board! Stick around & enjoy the football talk. Glad you have some advice about the Huskers program and our past. Speaking of the past - I'm sure you were a big SC fan during the "cricket" years. You know those years were USC wasnt even on the map forever. If not, here's a refresh of your tradition and powerhouse program since 1990. YAWN. Good thing you guys played in the Pac-10 or it could have been worse during those years. Well, good luck and enjoy your bandwagon success. 2006 11-2-0 2005 12-1-0 2004 13-0-0 2003 11-1-0 2002 11-2-0 2001 6-6-0 2000 5-7-0 1999 6-6-0 1998 8-5-0 1997 6-5-0 1996 6-6-0 1995 9-2-1 1994 8-3-1 1993 8-5-0 1992 6-5-1 1991 3-8-0 1990 8-4-1
  12. No blackouts, no whiteouts, just keep it RED please. It's always an amazing thing to see - that sea of red. If the students need to do something special to get motivated for this game, then that's simply lame. If word is out for blackouts or whiteouts around campus or in the news, kill it. Remember it's GO BIG RED. And not go big red and black.
  13. NFL season has kicked off!!!!!!!!! Love it!
  14. The professionalism has declined in the broadcast booth over the years. The announcers enjoy the drama of an upset in the making. Musberger even tries to create it instead of keeping a cool unbiased mouth. I have learned to tune out these guys. As an abserver to the Oregon/Michigan for this point, you could hear the announcers giggling with joy each time the Ducks got a first down. These guys have an impact when calling the game and either use it for their own agenda or simply do not care. Example: If they keep repeating how such-an-such did not prepare his team, or a team's defense is not fast, eventually you will read that same stuff in the boards, hear it at the water cooler, and read it on CNN/ESPN, etc.
  15. Just because Sipple doesnt have faith in this team beating USC - which is fine - it doesnt mean the coaches and players dont. I'm sure if the players had a pen, a typewriter, a computer, a voice, whatever, they may just disagree with this article. Go Big Red!
  16. NU 34 USC 33 Pass: 344 Rush: 179 Win in OT. BOOYAH!
  17. Agreed - Nunn had a good game. As long as the ball is thrown 40x, there will be plenty of opportunity for these recievers, backs, and tight ends to do some good things. Nunn made his opportunities count. Good job!
  18. I'm not a big fan of Cosgrove, but I dont think when things go bad it's simply his fault or error. I think our LBs are not quick or fast as you see with teams like LSU, Oklahoma, USC, etc. They miss tackles at times too. And our D-line did a good job, just not enough depth there for keeping them fresh. The secondary has improved some, but overall this defensive unit will come together as the season progresses. With that said, the Defense played good enough to keep Wake Forest to only 17 points and made big stops (goal line, and the INT turnover) when it was needed. I thought they did good. As for Coz, I didnt see a problem yesterday.
  19. prolly has one that says "Sun Devils Forever!".... oops! (just a little humor )
  20. I heard Stoops in an interview on Sirius today (it was replayed from the week) and when asked about rankings he said the only thing useful about the polls is rapping fish (when it comes out in the paper). He said he tells his guys to win, keep winning, and dont worry about anything else. I like (or respect) Stoops, and OU is playing on all cylinders.
  21. 10-10 going into the 4th...
