  1. Frost is doing it the same way TO did it. Also he seems to be the route of coach that motivates positively.....not negatively. Which also points to the shirts before the season.
  2. Depends.....need to see recruiting class and INJURIES. We have lost a key player(s) to injury for large chunks of the season every year.
  3. As someone from a coaching family i can tell you....it's a nice thought. But not realistic. It's also one of the reasons I'm not a coach.
  4. My guess is he's going to rip the bandaid off.... That's a tough situation. But after that game his team is the 2018 Nebraska cornfhuskers....and he probably wants to meet with his team asap.
  5. The guy has handled an undefeated season all while managing being one of the most sought-after coaches in the country and the birth of his first child. He'll be fine.
  6. My guess is since that is not a position most schools(including ucf) have the new coach doesn't have someone on his current staff to fill that position. He will likely want to meet the person before deciding their fate. Also the firing of the staff tells me 3 things.... #1 a coach has already been hired #2 they are bringing their staff #3 they aren't waiting until after the bowl season to start here....they are starting right away.
  7. Welcome to the board. Thanks for the info from the outside.
  8. This might be a little Too concrete....but i agree with the general idea.
  9. We kept Bo pelini 7 years. After the first 3 years(with callahan recruits) we never came CLOSE to competing for a conference title(not talking about national titles) and he was also severely mentally unstable. Top that off With clear signs of decline. And we still kept him 7 years. And you will notice with all the openings.....no one is talking about Bo.
  10. He'd never come here. And we'd be crazy not to take him if he would.
  11. Some of ohio states "struggles" the big10 deserves credit for. Its a sneaky tough conference.
  12. Really really good. Like TO good. Don't forget he won at Utah. I would take him in a second.
  13. I clearly have never been involved with this process....but from what i understand it's pretty common practice ,some say easier, to deal with prospective coaches when there is still a sitting coach in place.
  14. I get what you are saying....but are AD pretty clearly said today that Riley is gone at the end of the year. You don't even have to read between the lines
