  1. Wouldn't we all just sh#t ourselves if this was the one game all season the defense decided to play and offense was consistant and somehow pulled it out? I have faith in our boys, texas is beat up and not playing well at all. I think we can do it! GO BIG RED!
  2. Do you think that Callahan was yelling? Well, just wait until Pellini gets here. You'll see some yelling like you've never seen before. LOL That was actually a decent comment, LOL! Ain't that the f'ing truth, Bo will rip into their asses so much they'll have to get ass transplants.
  3. So why don't you tell us how you think it should have happened? How should the fans, media, etc act in this situation? I agree it has been nasty at times, but the direction of this program is not acceptable to us lesser fans. Do you think we should have just continued on as things are? What is it that you want to see happen? I believe he thinks we should go a season with no wins in order to fire an unworthy coach. Even then, he is stuck so far up callys ass, he would still try and call of the mobs.
  4. Osborne, from the start, had a winning tradition, never winning less than 9 games a season. I don't know what type of blinders you are wearing or what your eye-glass prescription is but maybe, just maybe, you should actually watch a game and witness for yourself what is happening in the program, this was happening before the mobs started calling for his head.
  5. People have the right to speak their minds as do you. Great thing is, if you don't like what you are reading here, then get lost. You think Callahan is so great, waith until that 4-4 record turns inro 5-7 or 4-8. Callahan said this was the best he had coached the last 4 years, if this is his best team, god help us. Firing an AD in the middle of a season isn't a big deal. The AD doesn't have control of the football program and what goes on on the field. Do I think we should get rid of a HC in the middle of a season, no. Does he still need to go, yes. Once again, if you don't like what you are reading on this board, feel free to leave and not worry about what us couch coaches have to say.
  6. He just doesn't give a rats ass what he does to the program. In his head, he is the greatest coach to ever walk on this green earth.
  7. Yes, finally, a tv game...wait, do I really want to watch?
  8. If Franchione can save his job, my "sources" say that Tubberville is the first choice of Texas A&M. Also...I'm now sure what kind of staff the new coach would assemble....but, Dan McCarney is on Jim Leavitt's staff at USF. He won't leave Auburn, he has too much invested with them. Havin had the chance to speak to him personally after a few Montgomery Quarterback Club Meetins, he won't leave and isn't considering leaving AU anytime soon.
  9. Because he knows how great our offense is and it can strike fast so he wanted to make sure we couldn't come back on him.
  10. Well Watson was calling the plays in the first half of the A&M game and at halftime only down by 2. I mean the season is still salvagable. Maybe with an interim staff we could win 2 games and make it to a bowl. It's obvisiously that callahan won't win anymore games but maybe watson can? Maybe if we make it to a bowl the recruits will still wanna come to nebraska. Cally took over complete play calling in the second half, correct? He's gotta go, my concern is still the defense, Watson took over the O, how do you uplift the D and get them to play better? Cally is gone soon, We will send mediocre cally back to the west coast his offense came from and let him run the new franchise out of LA into the ground before they even get started.
  11. Sorry, I like this one: "bullsh#t Bill's Wild Ride", that is too f'ing funny!
  12. Do you honestly expect him to go out and trash talk the team and the coaching staff to the media? How old are you, 11? ADs support their teams and their coaches in public and what happens behind closed doors, happens behind closed doors. He is not at all happy with the way the season is going, he is just doing his job so let him continue to do it, when Cally is gone, things will truley change.
  13. Having just moved from the wiregrass of Alabama, I have to say we need to steal Tommy Tuberville from Auburn, bring Muschamp with him! Wishfull thinking, i know.
  14. Because our HC has his head up his ass. Aint' that the f'ing truth!
  15. You guys are such babys. You have been rubbing peoples noses with all of this Husker BS for 40 years and now you are getting a dose of your own medicine and can't take it. Just think what it would be like if you were an Iowa State fan or a Missouri fan and have had your ass handed to you most of these past 30 years by the Cornhuskers. That would be something to cry about or want to forfeit. You so called great fans have a few bad seasons and you can't handle it. Grow up and start spreading your interests a little more. There are more important things in life rather than obsessing over what some 20-21 year olds do on a football field on a Saturday. Idiots!!! I wouldn't use the same language, and I probably would have nixed the "Idiots!!!" that was thrown in there, but I've got to generally agree with what this guy said. For being "the best fans in college football", I have been anything but impressed by the way you guys have been acting and the things you guys have been saying over the past 3 weeks. Welcome to reality, folks. Your program will certainly find its way back to national relevance, and probably sooner rather than later, but you're never again going to be as good as you were in the 90's. That level of play isn't possible anymore, so I'd suggest you get used to losing back to back games every now and again. It happens. Sticking with your team through losses is part of what being a fan is all about. I'm not a Husker fan, I'm a Sooner, but allow me to take a crack at a response to both you and "Huskerhater" above. You see, Colorado, Missouri, Iowa State, Baylor and the rest of the traditional Big 12 bottom dwellers have never had a tradition of excellence as long and as storied as either OU or Nebraska. It's simply not the same thing when a Colorado or an Oklahoma State has a long dry spell like this, because no one really expects much from them in the first place. Nor should they. Face it, teams like Nebraska, Oklahoma, USC, etc., have a tradition that stretches back generations, and that's why people care so much when one of these traditional football giants stumbles for a few seasons. No one really gives a rip when a CU or Oklahoma State or some similar East Popcorn State type football program goes through years of losing seasons. Sorry, but it's just that simple. Go Sooners!
  16. I hope that someone writes a book on BC named: Bill Callahan, the head coach who ruins football teams. He deserves it. Are you offering to help write it? I'm in!
  17. Should be big enough for him to stick his playbook in and leave, or we can raid his office and just flat out burn the playbook,
  18. Wow, you have been holding back the past week! Good read, though, I enjoyed your input and agree with alot!
