Yesterday, Stephens finally got accepted to go to Stanford academically so it looks like we are now out of it. Nebraska was his back up plan if he could not get into Stanford.

Wow when did this happen? Its kind of a mystery right now. There is no article or story about it on Rivals, but he has been listed as a Utah soft verbal since Wednesday.

Chill out. John Talman from Huskers Illustrated said he would have a new story out tomorrow about Giles. He was told by Giles that Nebraska is going after him very hard right now. Its still going to be tough to land him because if Tennessee's new HC keeps the RB Coach, Stan Drayton then Giles said he would stick withn his committment. Drayton is one of the better RB coaches in the country, so it wouldnt be surprising if he was retained.

They dont update those very often so dont look into that. Nebraska is lucky they even made it this far with him

I highly doubt he would decommit. He is suppose to enroll In January and his sister is enrolling with him. They already have everything set up.

Gabe has eliminated Nebraska and is now down to OU, Okie State, and North Carolina according to the latest Rivals article.

Committed to UCLA

Not yet Its hard to say if Nebraska will take his commitment at this point because I know that he has grade issues

Okie State has been his leader from the beginning and it helps that they are playing really good football this year. I would be very surprised if he chose Nebraska.

From all the things I have heard about Okafor, he has been a pretty big disappointment so far. Hopefully he can turn things around.

Tennessee

I don't understand why people seem to think DTs need to be 6'3" to be successful. It's all about leverage down in the trench - sometimes height is a disadvantage. Thats exactly the players Bo has gone after so far. Both of the DT commits we have are right around 6'0". I think that when you are lower to the ground you can cause more problems in the backfield and get more pressure.

My friend knows one of the players, and he said that the coaches havent talked much about it yet and there still not sure. But he said if they do wear the black uni's then they will go out for pre-game in the reds and come out for the game in the black uniforms. I think that would be sweet if they did that.

You need to outline the numbers in red, but I like the black and white. Just to clarify, I didnt edit those pictures. Some guy on HuskersIllustrated did. I agree though, the black and white ones look pretty sweet
