For when I had to work on game day, I'd plan my (work) schedule around the game. There was 2 (I know the exact number, because it was hell) games last season that I missed (Nichols St. and Missoura) because I had to work during the game, but I made sure the gf was texting me updates on my cell phone (FYI: this really helped in converting her). And of course I'd send her drunken texts if she had to work during a game.

Back to the subject, this off-season is going to long. It's pretty depressing when you have a page-a-day calendar on your desk and you flip ahead to when the season starts, and there's almost as much paper there to write a novel It’s not so bad when it’s summer, cause it’s almost football season, but we still have spring and summer to survive. Driving home last night my Sirius radio was flashing ‘Game Alert’ and I was able to catch the end of the bb game against Baylor.

Guess I can say that's the closest I've ever come to watching Canadian Idol.

Ok, just checking... I've heard some Florida horror stories (which kept us from going there on vacation a few years ago). Germans Warned of Dangers " (Source) It's cause for concern. I think I need to watch that 20/20 about people worrying too much But most of the 'tourist targets' I've read were tourists from overseas. I only asked since here you read about/hear on the news about the latest person randomly shot or stabbed for no reason (like looking at someone the wrong way/wearing the wrong brand of clothing). Which is why I don't go to the clubs here.

We're going to be visiting Orlando this summer, and I was wondering what the general attitude towards other teams is? I'm not going to get shot for wearing a Huskers shirt, am I? (We're not going to Miami, so I feel a little relived about that ) Considering Orlando (Disney World) gets a lot of tourists, I'd imagine I'll be okay. I'm probably overreacting, but it's still nice to know that I probably am (overreacting).
