  1. Boooohhh Pah-lee-neeeeeee. Carrlllllll Pah-lee-neeeeeee.
  2. The fact of the matter is that, after a win like that, the talk of the program should not be our head coach's press conference. It should be the players and how they performed on the field. Like it or not, the programs image is very important and it's only a matter of time before ESPN catches something like this and spins it to turn Bo and Nebraska football into the immature laughing stock of the Big Ten. I know Bo has this "It's us against the world, everyone is trying to screw my program" mentality, which is great for on the field, but is really hurting us off it. With that said, the media isn't helping the situation. Some of those questions at the press conference were ridiculous. "Was Martinez motivated to play today?" "Did your defense get extra fired up when Miller got hurt?" Come on. They are trying to get a reaction out of Bo so they can write a story like this. It's just too bad Bo keeps giving it to them.
  3. That wasn't a "mediocre" defense we gashed (at all). Mediocre team. Not mediocre defense.
  4. Yeah, I think we're going to struggle with one of MSU or NW a lot. I just don't really know which.
  5. Minnesota: Win -- We should roll here (6-1) Michigan St: Loss -- Very good defense and will be difficult to contain Cousins (6-2) Northwestern: Win -- If Dan Persa is healthy this will be a tough game (7-2) Penn St: Win -- Always a challenge at Happy Valley, but PSU's offense is a dud this year (8-2) Michigan: Loss -- Our defense won't be able to stop Michigan, and I don't think we can win in a shootout (8-3) Iowa: Win -- Their offense isn't explosive, and we should be able to wear down their D (9-3) Overall: 9-3 B1G: 5-3 Despite the amazing comeback last night, I'm still not sold on this team. We were a key injury away from this season being a complete failure. There are major issues on our defense and I'm not so sure there is a quick fix. If we can play like we played in the 2nd half yesterday, there's not a game on our schedule we can't win. But I don't know if we can do that. Bottom line: we beat a very, very mediocre Ohio St. team by 7 at home. We need to step it up the rest of the season if we want to meet our goals. What do you guys think?
  6. Yeah there's definitely a correlation there.
  7. There may have been contact, but it didn't look to me like he was intentionally leading with his helmet. Shouldn't have been a fine.
  8. It's getting to the point where I think we need to question how much of a defensive guru Bo really is. What has he done to show us that he is the one responsible for out past success? Yes, he improved the defense considerably from Cosgrove. Doesn't say much. 2009 Bo coaching strategy: "Hey, Suh, go tackle the guy with the ball. In the mean time we'll drop 7 into coverage while you still apply pressure" 2010 Bo coaching strategy: "Hey, Prince/Dennard/Hagg/Gomes, go blanket every receiver. They'll have no choice but to run the ball and then Lavonte will get them every time" Having great defenses when you have NFL talent all over the field does not make you a great defensive coach. You will be considered a defensive guru when your defense can outperform their expectations based on talent, and I don't think we've ever seen that out of Bo. By the time the season is over we will know how good Bo really is.
  9. Really? Sour grapes? That's because it's just downright impossible for Wisconsin to be classless? a-hole. a-hole. a-hole. Eat sh#t. f#*k you. You have classless fans (students), and a good football team. The result of the game doesn't change the fact that your fans are piles of scum, we'd still be saying it even if we won.
  10. Wow angry guy...not sure if this is towards wisky, bo, beck, t-magic or secondary or refs! Anyone. If you're reading this then f#*k you.
  11. I don't think he really f'ing said we win this game without those calls you f'ing dumbass. The refs can still be awful even if our team is sucking fat ****.
  12. It won't happen in a long, long time. How long?
  13. He's some sort of volunteer. Technically not a grad assistant. But yes, that's him on the sidelines.
  14. Uh, Dennard is close to being back and should be 100% with a warm-up game in his pocket by Wisconsin. Oh really? How do you know this? (Advice: Don't say "Bo says so" or else you're falling into the trap)
