Do you really think Buckeye fans are that shallow and pathetic? We don't have enough history against Nebraska to care that much. If we lose, we lose. If we win, we win. We aren't going to rub it in your faces unless you try to pull the same sh#t Miami and Arkansas did talking for a full month how you are going to utterly destroy Ohio State. Be the team you've made us come to expect from you, and we will say good game if you beat us. If we beat you, again good game is all you're going to receive. So it's up to you the type of experience you want to receive from Buckeye fans. (Note, this doesn't count drunk college students.) Give us some time to adjust to the new conference, bro. We're used to having just about everybody hate us and pull crap like this (Colorado, K-St, Mizzou, etc). I think most Husker fans will have respectful feelings for Ohio State instead of a rivalry based on dislike.

I hope you're right. Baseball games are too fun of an event to be wasted with having a crappy team. I'm not going to demand CWS appearances every other year like some people on this board probably do, but I feel like with the facilities and talent we can pull in, we should at least be qualifying for the NCAA tournament nearly every year. Here's to hoping your friend is right. Any input on possible replacements? I think we'd all love Erstad, especially since a few players I know say they love the guy, but apparently he doesn't really want the position.

It really doesn't matter a whole lot if people had to pay for PSN or if Sony had beefed up security measures. Anonymous is for real, and I don't think there is anything Sony could have done about it. Bo says a lot of things. Let's hope he wasn't just full of crap on this one. And (not to compare Maher to The Great AH, which isn't fair to Maher at all, but why not) I don't know if Maher is really getting the ball that high up the net. Henery kicked 40 yarders over the net, and Maher's are nowhere near that. Knowing that Henery could kick between 60-65 in those same practice conditions, I'm guessing Maher can go between 50 and 55. Which, if past history with Bo's choice on whether to go or punt is any indicator, I'd say Maher's "in game limit" is probably no more than 45 or so. Which isn't great, but isn't really all that terrible. But we've been spoiled out of our minds so next year it's going to feel like Maher's not that good. I feel bad for the kid.

I thought this was supposed to be a "family board" or something like that? I find this post rude and offensive. I would complain to a mod that this stuff needs to be in the shed ONLY, but seeing as you're the guy in charge, it would probably be a waste of time.

There's a college football blog out there that (about a year ago) provided this analysis: The ability to win NOW correlates MORE with a team's record over the past 25 years than it does with a team's record over the past 10 years. So, in squak terms, that means that our history will still help us beat you. And that doesn't even consider how we were much better than you this year. But nice try.
