Don't quote me on this but I thought I read somewhere that Mizzou is last in total Defense in the Big XII. That is what's got me thinking that Nebraska can pull the upset.

My opinion is this, the 95 Husker team was loaded with talent and speed. Their defense was unstopable, they were well coached and disciplined plus they executed and everyone did thier jobs efficently. So, I think the 95 Skers could still steam roll anybody. Half of thier team went to the pro's.

he would still be better than anyone KC has on the roster now... No, don't get me wrong he is a good QB but he is a great QB in the spread offense. Only one team in the NFL runs the spread and it is the Patriots. It would take a couple of years for him to learn a new system, learn to read defenses, drop back and pass, see over the offensive line and other stuff that I don't want to get into. Sorry, the Chiefs would be fine without him.

When I was growing up Nebraska was the sh_t! All my young adult life I was hated on because Nebraska was unstopable (this is why a lot of people don't like USC). When Nebraska lost back in the day, I was mad for days. When they lose now, i'm over it in a couple of minutes. I don't know if that is from losing so many in the last 5 years or from growing up, I don't know. Nebraska needs this win, the fans need this win, and I need this win.

I guess all we can hope for is: A revived running game. Pressure on Daniels. Sustained offensive drives so our Defense isn't on the field alllll day. Well said!

I also live in MO, I work with a lot of MU fans (funny I didn't know they were MU fans until they started winning last year) and they haven't said anything like that. But, I have heard one fan say he would like the Chiefs to draft Chase Daniels. I couldn't help but laugh and he didn't think that was very funny at all. So I explained to him why Daniels wouldn't be a good NFL QB and he acted like I slapped his mother. Sorry Tiger fans, your boy wont be a good NFL QB.

well considering MU is a pass happy team and our secondary isn't the best, I can see why most people aren't giving Nebraska a chance. But, things don't always happen they way they are supposed to.

He is right. This game is winnable, it's going to come down to the offense this time. We all know that Mizzou is going to score a lot of points. But can Joe Ganz and Co. come back and march on down the field? I know they can. Will they? Lets see on Saturday.

hell yeah i'm looking forward to this game! i wan't to see if nebraska can get a "signature win." I want to see if they can forget about loses and concentrate on the next game. I want to see if they can correct thier mistakes and execute like they could.
