  1. yup, i see us not ready for this game........but hoping for 7-5 season. That seems a bit pessimistic. I'm expecting a minimum of 9 wins, no excuses. i hope you guys are correct, but i am really concerned with our O line and no Abdullah......hope we can overcome those concerns. We appear to have upgraded our O-Line coach. And while we don't have a lot of starting experience at RB, we should have a serviceable group of backs. Pair that with an offensive scheme where everyone is on the same page, I would not call this doom and gloom. Again, I would be much more worried with Pelini back than I am right now.
  2. It happens, I have a Washburn acoustic that the neck had to be adjusted less than a year after I got it. How long you guys been playing? I've been off and on for 15 years, probably playing 10 or 11 of those. Crazy to think it's even been that long, I still think I suck. About 7. My knowledge exceeds my muscle memory still though. I need to get more playing time in, time for it has not always been abundant.
  3. This is probably a dumb question, but do they have the Rocksmith for the Xbox1?? Rocksmith 2014 is available. Its on Steam also. Though with Steam, you will still need to buy a cable from Amazon. The cable is universal to any platform though.
  4. Was cutting edge at the time, but the Carolina Panthers when they entered the league, had machines that the guys would use that measured muscular imbalances, weak areas etc..... The staff was then able to tailor workouts to prevent the injuries and strengthen the areas. Some similar workouts, but a lot of specific stuff to "fix" guys. The idea of increasing mobility is a great idea. Mobility or lack ther of is a killer. I think of the comments Heard made about getting to UK and fixing his hips. Same with the comments about that "white boy safety being a first rounder if I can fix his hips". Some thing that the new S&C notic d from film and Dobson was oblivious to for 2 years. Just saying It was almost like after moving to the Big Ten, they changed everything and entered a time warp back into the '70's way of doing things. Like never using the high tech center.
  5. It can be annoying as hell. And ruin the playing experience even. My Artcore's E buzzes badly if I downtune at all, so that one pretty much gets left in standard. Which is a big part of what pushed me to buy the LTD. Even in D drop C I don't get much buzz on the E, other than if I get aggressive and let it sustain.
  6. Wants to come home? That's insane. No way he will ever live in the U.S. as a free man. He'll end up spending the rest of his life behind bars. You just don't screw over the NSA like he did, then come back to talk about it. What??? He doesn't want to spend the rest of his life in a country with as open and honest of government like Russia that doesn't do any spying or espionage? True dat. But his options are somewhat limited at this point. LOL Though he is much safer with how much media coverage he would demand. And countries without extradition are not really that safe for him. And a conviction is far from guaranteed if he does return. I dunno. I think I rather live free in the smoldering shell of the former Soviet Union rather than face a coin flip of spending a half century in an American prison. Then again, I've never been to Russia. How free can he be in Russia if they think he knows secrets of the US government? I would suspect that Putin has him on a rather short leash. Yeah. I guess it must suck being there. Or else he'd want to stay. I wonder what Snowden thought was going to happen when he release all those documents? That he'd become a huge hero? He did shed a lot of light on things the American people did not know was happening. I think he was of a mind that he was going to be viewed as a whistleblower. And many do view him like that.
  7. And the guy is a doctor. And this is the first glimpse of just how "Bat Guano Crazy" the GOP field will be this time around.
  8. Simply ask this. If Dems had done the exact same thing when Bush was in office, what would the GOP response have been? I'm going to guess the theatrics would have rivaled anything Hollywood could ever think up. The endless obsession with Iran is also very tiresome. If certain factions of our gov would cut with the warmongering at them, we could get some normalized relations. As far as the Middle East goes, Iran is one of the most stable, and overall, sensible countries over there.
  9. I have both Rocksmith games, they are awesome. Plugging in a real guitar is great, and it does help to learn absolutely.
  10. The bigger take away is the more custom tailored work out routines.
  11. Getting a floating bridge set up is harder than building a computer, or doing most work on cars, its just ridiculous. I totally underestimated how difficult it would be to do on my own. And for what little it actually does, its just not worth it. To say nothing about the complete inability to change tunings without a guitar tech.
  12. My first one was an ESP LTD with a Floyd Rose. Great sound, but I will never have a floating bridge ever again. The e string had a nasty tendency to break, and trying to get it set up again was a total nightmare. I still have the thing, though I should probably sell it.
  13. For the life of me I can't remember who was talking on which radio program, but it was a while ago, and they got into Armstrong's mechanics. And the opinion was his issues are primarily with his feet and legs. Poor foot work, and a mention of almost a 'hitch' with how he moved his lower body during the process of the throw. And that it was something a QB coach could correct.
  14. Now that is just too damn funny... I wanted to ask, how do you like the Artcore? It has some nice tone, definitely works better for more mellow stuff. A metal guitar it is not. I also find that the neck is no where near as comfortable as the neck on my LTD. Its a bit thicker, and I end up with more muscle fatigue quickly. So overall, its nice, but it would never be my primary. kinda what I figured, I played one of these a couple months ago, and I was hooked, which is surprising, because for the most part, I hate Fenders... http://www.fender.com/guitars/stratocaster/modern-player-stratocaster-hsh/product-0242100.html I'm with you, Fender is not my preferred. My primary, and its a great fit for me. http://www.espguitars.com/products/9676-h-351-stblk?category_id=1963298-h-series

  16. Same guys video was the final sales point for me as well actually.
  17. Well, the good thing is, when I got it, I got the 25 dollar, 2 year "warranty", so I may be able to have them fix it for nothing... Very possible. It sounds like it might need a 'set up' which when I had bought mine came free with the purchase. I'm hoping that's it, and nothing more... I'm hoping the next didn't warp, which is worst case scenario, but I got it from SamAsh, and the guy I deal with there is nothing short of awesome, so I'm pretty sure I could just swap it out... with where the issue is on the neck, the truss rod might be all there is to it. If its not tensioned right, it can make the neck bend a bit. But that is something I would be scared to touch on my own.
  18. Very solid entry level metal head. I looked at a number of things when I bought my gear, the versatility of the Jim Root Terror over the Tiny Terror swung me though.

  20. I'm running an ESP LTD H-351NT and an Ibanez Artcore partial hollowbody, with Orange's Jim Root Terror and the matched 2-12 Cab.
  21. It may not be that big of a deal. Its possible something like the truss needs adjusting, or something else fairly simple to fix. But its still probably $75 or more to have a guy look at it.
  22. As someone that lived through the 2011 Ohio State season, I can honestly say it can happen. The 2011 OSU team vs 2012 team were night and day. I'm not saying that Nebraska is going to go undefeated but it isn't like their roster is full of bad talent. It is amazing what good coaching can do along with players buying into the system. Nebraska has a better talent pool based on 5 year recruiting than almost every team on the schedule. Miami would be the only one who has out recruited us over that time period. Undefeated is unrealistic. But only 7 wins is also unrealistic. Doom and gloom from some people around here is out of control. Still hangover from Callahan.
  23. I hate, no, despise, the state of Iowa.

I learned this week that Iowa is known for it's unusually good benefits for the mentally impaired... Very telling
