  1. Correct me if I'm wrong...but I don't recall saying he is published on this topic. As I suspected. The end.
  2. If the person you know has published, peer reviewed works refuting AGW, then please post which those are and in what journal. If they're published, they're out there anyway and there's no reason to hold that back. What a person says in interviews or on a personal basis is pretty much irrelevant when compared to their published works on a topic. So let's have the paper titles and journals they were published in.
  3. I would say go to the game if you have tickets and leave if they're laying another egg. Seems like a best of both worlds situation (unless you have to travel a long way to get to the game). A lot of people getting up and leaving if they're sucking hard will still send a clear message.
  4. Sorry, not putting the "change coordinators" bit to bed. It's a valid option. However, I don't believe he'll do it willingly. And if he's forced and walks, then so be it. Edit - It's also pretty funny how ESPN can be taken seriously when it agrees with the poster using them as a source, but they're ridiculous and not worthy of any attention when it disagrees with the poster. Love it.
  5. As someone else already stated, what else is he supposed to say? Senior Day is actually pretty important to the players, so I think that's a perfectly legit comment. The Iowa thing is coach speak since it's a purely invented rivalry between the teams. No coach is going to, or should, say something like, "Yeah, the rest of the season is pretty much screwed. There's nothing to play for." Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Gotta love sports fans.
  6. I'm certainly not a Beck fan, but I don't see any issue with those comments. I don't see him claiming that winning a game on Senior Day is better than playing in the CCG.
  7. I think they're better than that. With how this season has gone (almost every team showing quite a bit of inconsistency), I don't think any team could afford to overlook Minnesota. Still, they're a team Nebraska should be able to handle readily enough if everything was alright with the program. As it stands, they're a question mark. But calling them a cupcake or speed bump is a bit of a disservice. You're looking at it wrong. Minnesota IS a good team . . . in the Big 10. But the conference as a whole is trash. Minnesota would be bottom half in any other Power 5 conference. They are a tough opponent only compared to the pathetic teams in the Big 10 and in the sense that they could realistically beat us. What you're missing is that this speaks volumes about how bad our conference is in general and we are in particular. I'm not missing anything. Minnesota is playing good football and they're not a cupcake team. Nobody is claiming they're an elite team or anything close (including "good"). But thanks for playing.

  9. What the fock is your point? Minnesota is a relatively strong opponent. It doesn't have anything to do with how we did yesterday. If Nebraska was the team it should be, we could be a lot less concerned about Minnesota taking us behind the woodshed too. The only odd thing is that your annoying ass is still trolling this board. Reported. Also, my point is that Minnesota isn't a cupcake. I think I made that clear.
  10. And I knew there would be a post like that. What a shock. Minnesota is not a cupcake, they're playing some good football. Funny thing is, if we had won yesterday, all of a sudden Minnesota would be viewed as a relatively strong opponent. Odd how that happens around here.
  11. Yeah, that bit there stood out to me as a shining example of how completely the team gave up and imploded.
  12. Minnesota is a cupcake? lol
  13. I wouldn't lose my sh#t if Bo were let go as long as they had a plan for getting someone with a proven track record here. Nor would it bother me to see him forced to make coordinator changes and bring in outside help.
  14. Eby you are the kind of fan that will hold this program back forever, Look at oklahoma they had a couple of bad coaches but they weren't afraid to make the necessary changes. It is not going to get better unless we do what it takes. Since you saw fit to repost your previous, amazingly awesome post, I'll do the same with mine.
  15. "I am an objective football fan..." That was my favorite part. It made me giggle.
  16. I don't think so. You're limited to taking a various styles of shirts and customizing them with the sport.
  17. It's amazing that me, a solitary Husker fan, is able to hold this program back forever! First of all, that means I must be immortal, since forever is a long time. Far longer than the average person's lifetime. Next, how important must I be that my opinion matters so much it shapes the very landscape of Husker football coaching. Wait, not only their coaching, but their very future! You've made an extremely intelligent, coherent, and insightful post about my overwhelming and dominating importance to this football program. Thank you.
  18. I think they do. What evidence do you have to support this?
  19. That doesn't answer my questions at all. And by everyone, do you mean fans or the majority of coaches? If the latter, can you provide something to back up your claim?
  20. Do other coaches see Bo as a dead man walking? Would they if he was out there getting experienced, outside help? Coaches tend to see things differently than fans.
  21. It needs to not be Bo's scheme, that's one of the problems. Outside, proven coordinators with free reign given to run things as they feel they need to. If Bo can't do that, then yeah, it's probably time to start shopping. I certainly wouldn't clean house without being pretty sure we could get someone worthwhile, and with good experience, to come coach here.
  22. Over/under for the number of bans handed out over the next couple of days? 30? I don't know really know what an appropriate starting figure might be.

    1. JJ Husker

      JJ Husker

I don't think there are 30 people left that care that much.

  23. Of course I want the Huskers to win, but seeing the meltdown here if we lose might just fill the void a little.
