Fitzgerald's a bright, young coach. If he stays there, I see him really turning that program into something. I'm definitely seeing that too. The guy has some chops.

The Big 12 has been completely top heavy the last five years. I think 2008 was a decent season with TTech, Okie State, and Mizzou showing life as well as 2007 with Kansas having only one loss. But really it's just been OU, UT, and third team du jour be it Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas State, Texas A&M or Missouri. I like most of the Big 10 teams especially Northwestern. They've played some really sweet games lately.

Northwestern, Indiana, Illinois, are spread and Penn State has what they call "Spread HD" or some sort of jazz like that. Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan State are really the only "three yards and a cloud of dust" teams left.

If they offer Texas the big 10 gets four schools from Texas no deal Well it's just one or the other then I guess. Was there an article saying that the Big Ten offer about UT and ND wasn't gonna happen?
