Will it be on in Lincoln?

Lol I think the producers at ESPN have a serious man-crush on Tebow. Seriously I think he's the only player playing in the national title game. Well the only one I've heard of on ESPN.

At Nebraska Bookstore here in Lincoln there are a couple styles of winter coats. The best sports coats were the starter jackets that pulled over and only zipped up from the middle and up. Then they had the logo on the back and the name across the front, those were bad ass.

Well this is unfortunate.....I will be out of the country during the bowl game and won't be able to watch it. Does anyone know if CBS is showing it on their website live?

Actually what got Suh this extra year of eligibility was a medical redshirt.....glad he gets to play 2 seasons under Bo instead of just one. Anyways Suh is a beast he'll be back next year lining up at fullback and destroying QB's and running backs

I picked Oklahoma for my bowl pool, they have looked good and destroyed their last 5 or 6 opponents. Plus Florida lost to Ole Miss at home, and OU only lost to UT on a neutral site. I think OU offense gets going and puts up some points early and the defense hangs on to win the game.

I hope most people were able to to detect the e-sarcasm......I know ESPN doesn't 'hate' us, however they are biased toward certain teams as we all know. But once the big red is back in the top 10 where they should belong, then ESPN won't be able to hate and will have no choice but to talk about us.

Keep hanging around HuskerBoard, and you'll see - oh, I don't know - about 35 topics a year urging the team to wear black jerseys. Yes, you read that correctly - black. For a team whose colors are red and white. In fact, I'm surprised that hasn't come up in this thread yet... Why is that so strange? I mean, we have the 'blackshirts' and alot of the Husker gear anymore has black in it... Black is sort of a generic 'we bad ass' type of jersey anyway, that alot of teams have in their mix. Yeah well we shouldn't wear black jerseys ever, since we have to stick with our red. That is what were known for, thats what all the fans wear to the games, and changing it to black for a game would just be a stupid gimmick. Only teams without a lot of tradition mess with their uniforms a lot (i.e. Oregon).

Well obviously all quarterbacks would like to avoid interceptions overall and not have any, but that is impossible to go an entire season without turning it over. Joe is a great quarterback and who knows what our record last year might have been if he had started over Keller. Our offense will still be pretty good next year with Helu as long as we have a strong OL.

I am not as concerned as I was earlier this year. I have come to the realization that we must break in a new QB and the two that look to have the inside track have been in the system a couple years. Granted they dont have extensive game experience but they do know the offense. Remember last year Ganz came in with just about no experience as well and started chucking the ball around pretty well. I think the first few games of next season will be enough to get whoever it may be settled in and comfortable. Yes Ganz was good when he first started and he had been the back up for 3 years in Billy C's system, I think him and Zac Taylor were the only players that ever really understood how the offense worked. I am saying that we are going to have an inexperienced quarterback and they make inexperienced plays sometimes. Hopefully whoever starts will turn out to be a good QB.

IDK about you guys but I'm really concerned about our QB situation next year. Whoever plays will have slim to no real game experience and I think that could really hurt us. We are really going to need a strong OL and backfield along with a good D-Line and hopefully the secondary will become respectable. I think we're going to be at about the same position next year just because of that and our schedule.

The one thing I don't like about Joe is is interception throwing at the worst possible time. The Texas Tech game would've been huge to win, if Ganz had just thrown that ball away, we'd still have a pretty good chance to pick up 10 yard on our next 2 plays and continue a drive and win against a top 10 team for once. Thats what really got to me about Joe is that TT game. However in his other contributions have been great he has really been our offense this year.

Purple is a color that no teams should use for their uniform. At least its not their main color like it is at KSU, Northwestern, or TCU. Clemson needs to just stick to their traditional orange and white because I think those jerseys look pretty good.

I thought we were gonna wear red....on yahoo.com on the Clemson page it says "at Nebraska" and the Nebraska page it just says "Clemson" for the next game. I don't know for sure, hopefully we wear red.

Well just thought I'd do some Clemson bashing here on their ugly ass K-State-esque purple uniforms. It looks like Barney the purple dinosaur is on the field. They are almost as bad as those all purples that KSUcks wore against us this year.

Even without a DC, no way yall put up 38 points. We are +10 in turnover margin since the head coaching change. Spiller gets his usual 200+ yards a game under coach Swinney, J.D. gets his record breaking touchdown along with 60 yards rushing, then... there is another weapon you guys have never heard of...Jamie Harper. He also gets 60+ yards and a touchdown. Game Over Nebraska! Clemson 41 Nebraska 17! Nope were gonna win, sorry Clemson fans!

you say that like its a bad thing, which its not.... but we can save that debate for another day Lol I agree with you but what he's trying to get at is that all the weed smoking made Sapp tired, I don't think football players should smoke because it will get them out of breath quicker.

Yeah no all whites please. I'm one of those types of superstitious people and I think the all whites are a jinx. Plus Callahan wanted to wear them for his last game so no all whites.
