  1. Hell in 04 Callahan himself did it. Reason number 132 why callahan wasn't the right choice for us
  2. Jake Behrens, fb for colorado. Scored the first touchdown against us in the game this season.
  3. Lavonte David went to the same high school as Lamb, I wonder if we have tried tapping into that connection yet and get David to recruit him a little bit
  4. Carl Nicks was most a top backup his first season, and only started at the end of the year. He also was on special teams. I have a feeling Hardwick will follow the same path (including domination in his senior year )
  5. There is no way that second would get put back on ther clock for Nebraska. No F-ing way it would have happened. The Big12 wanted to field a NC team and that is that. I wonder if Bo stays up at night thinking about what if I would have just pulled my team off the field and headed to the locker room like it was over. My latest book, “The Economics of Sex,” is now available on Amazon. www.fruitbatbooks.com Does anyone else feel like this thread is more of an advertisement for his book than anything else? I mean seriously, copying and pasting the link in every post?

  7. The rest of the bcs top 5: TCU Season Totals: 153 tkl - 32 tfl - 20 sac - 10 qbh - 6 pbu - 0 int - 2 ff - 0 blk Cincinnati Season Totals: 149 tkl - 35.5 tfl - 12.5 sac - 9 qbh - 0 pbu - 0 int - 1 ff - 0 blk Except for tackles and tfl, Suh is better in almost every category. Amazing.
  8. Overreaction. Hopefully they were just resting helu for next week, and he wasn't hurt or anything. When healthy he is one of the best backs in the big 12
  9. I dont really understand how the star system works, but shouldn't he be higher than 2 stars on scout?
  10. Perhaps NU doesn't want to play BSU since they want a $1,000,000 payday from us? I don't know how we are doing financially, but scheduling a sun belt team for cheaper sounds like a lot better deal for us, easy win + lower payout. source: http://www.idahostatesman.com/boisestatefo...ory/964486.html
  11. Bo needs to chill the f*** out with screaming at players like that. You would never see a coach like Stoops or Brown yelling at a player on the sidelines like that. In the locker room, thats fine, but on national TV? Especially since a lot of recruits were watching that game, that looks really bad.
  12. We had some calls go our way though...one in particular was when allen knocked off the helmet of the OU lineman when he batted down that first pass... Officiating in general has been bad this season, across college football
  13. For swerving to miss a dog? Are you kidding me? Please tell me WHY in gods name he would go on probation? This is the most irrational comment I have heard in a while... and saying that on THIS board, is pretty impressive. Not legal probation, just with the team, like a warning system. Just let him know he was lucky to get away with this, but that this kind of behavior is not acceptable for a team leader, or any team member. What is "this kind of behavior." there is a team policy for impeccable driving? what next, punishing players for returning movies late? Hitting 3 parked cars, at 2:30 in the morning after havng been out drinking the night after a game kind of behaviour. Please on any given Sat night about half the campus has a .035 BAC haha Thats nothing. For him it probably would be about a 12 pack though Never said a word about Suh being wrong for having a few drinks, but his decision to get behind the wheel, legally impaired or not, was a poor one. That's the difference, as a team leader and representative of the University of Nebraska, and a potential first round NFL draft choice, it was obviously a poor decision. Do kids get away with it every weekend? Absolutely! Does that make it right for Suh? IMO, no. When you wear the uniform, and profess to be a team leader you are held to a different standard than the average 22 year old idiot. No, limiting himself to .035 BAC was was great decision. He limited himself and did what every alcohol commercial politely requests, he drank responsibly. It was unfortunate that he got in a car accident, but there is no evidence they are related. If anything, he should not have driven because he must have been to tired to drive. According to this study: http://oem.bmj.com/cgi/content/abstract/60/9/689 the low level of alcohol intake could have exacerbated his sleepiness, causing the accident. Not that I agree with jliehr here, but he does have a point about Suh being a leader and needing to be a little bit smarter.
  14. Agreed with the original poster. Also, we should Fire Gilmore and hire Scott Frost as our new WR coach Maybe groom him to take over the OC job in a few years.
  15. I downloaded a mouse recorder to automate my clicking (http://www.jitbit.com/macrorecorderlite.aspx).... will be running it all night!!!!

  17. Hopefully this is the breakout game Niles Paul needed and he will emerge as a true number 1 receiver and dominate the big 12 now that Dez Bryant has left the seat open for top Big 12 receiver!!!

  19. Talk about a blast from the past...."Feb 15 2008, 04:12 PM"
  20. ESPN gamecast is updating really fast right now (1-2 second lag)
  21. I really hope that doesn't happen. NU is all about class, and the blowouts of old were because the other teams couldn't stop the 2nd and 3rd string offenses that NU threw out there. If we keep scoring with Sexy Rexy and Mean Green, then that would be awesome, but no running up the score just for some silly payback.
  22. http://arkansasvarsity.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=992976 Seems like his off the field issues are going away, would be cool to have him as N!
  23. Jeff Sagarin publishes computer rankings each week, one of which is used in the BCS calculation. His own explanation: In ELO-CHESS, only winning and losing matters; the score margin is of no consequence, which makes it very "politically correct". However it is less accurate in its predictions for upcoming games than is the PURE POINTS, in which the score margin is the only thing that matters. PURE POINTS is also known as PREDICTOR, BALLANTINE, RHEINGOLD, WHITE OWL and is the best single PREDICTOR of future games. The ELO-CHESS will be utilized by the Bowl Championship Series(BCS). That being said, check out NU's rankings after Va Tech: Strength of Schedule: 73 ELO-CHESS: 77 PREDICTOR: 3 You can find the rest of the numbers here: Sagarin Rankings Makes me a little bit happier inside BTW: OU is number 1 by PREDICTOR.
