  1. I can't help but love that post! ^^^^^^^
  2. owa you blew it... but thats okay cause you seem like a nice guy so i forgive you... but come on you cant really still be considered the Beavers right??? I think you mean the Ducks. Beavers are the other Oregon team with crappier facilities. Nope, it looks like UCLA or Oregon St.
  3. I agree. You certainly cannot fault the kid for making the choice he did.
  4. I like this kid. It's rare to find a kid humble enough to admit that he gets emotional sometimes when he thinks about home. Lots of kids will talk about missing home, but he takes it a little further. I hope he does well here and beyond.
  5. Agreed. Everything i've read about Martinez has been nothing but positive. I know that Bo loves his athleticism, but have heard (and seen if you watch his high school video actually) that his throwing is pretty bad. Not sure it could be worse than Lee's at this point, but who knows? I have to believe the job goes to Green with another year of learning the system under his belt. Fingers crossed.
  6. Maybe it was meant like, "Awe crap, what am I doing in this sh!thole?!!"
  7. atleast he showed some guts to call into the show and set somethings straight... sorta a trippy interview..... was a little PISSED about the commets people are living him on Facebook and the like!! What exactly did he set straight? It did take guts to call in, but as far as setting things straight? I think you swung and missed on that one.
  8. He didn't say anything that convinced me he has much character. So be it. I hope we get to play the team he ultimately goes to and we put a serious hurt on him if he ever takes the field against us.
  9. I just got done listening to TG's interview on 1620 and had hoped he would say something to prove to me that he wasn't stringing us along all that time. That he wasn't just using us and lying to our coaches. That he actually had some decent character. Still waiting.
  10. Who here is surprised by this? I've been sitting quietly for months just waiting for this to happen. What a class act of a family. Oh well, good luck I guess.
  11. Right now they are right around roughly half the number of votes they used last year to base their prediction on. Fingers crossed!!!
  12. My kids are definitely N The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!!!!!
  13. Awesome!!! Wish I was there. Cheers to you!!!
  14. When does North Carolina and Wyatt Earp show up?
  15. I'd like to see him play QB at the D1 level even if that means he goes to a system that fits him better than us. I've been watching him play for three years and he surely is a player.
  16. Honestly, I don't think I agree. I'd like to know what his completion percentage is on passes over 30 yards, I bet it's pretty good. I look at how often he goes deep and they seem to complete a lot of those passes. Look at Paul in the KU game. I think Lee threw to him 5 times and he caught four for 154 with a short reception of like 37 yards or something. I would like to see him throw the ball downfield more.
  17. I agree with the earlier poster who stated that this site has a well documented history of critiquing Lee's hesitancy. Stay Gold, LOL! However, I do think they need to stop running the option with him. He simply doesn't run that play well. I think they ran it 4-5 times last game (including an option pass), and I think they lost yardage on all but one of them. Time to throw THAT page in the shredder.
  18. I don't think I can agree with this. I certainly don't want to take a kid as a recruit at QB who isn't up to the task talentwise just because we don't have any other QB prospects who want to commit. However, QB is arguable the most important position on the team and my opinion is that you should try to get one quality prospect at that spot every year. If you go a year without one so be it, but that should be the exception more than the rule. Just an opinion.
  19. The look on her face says, "Yes, I have seen the bootleg Bo Pelini tape!"
  20. I hope we are not one of the teams still interested. IMO, if a kid de-commits from us we should be out of it for him. Perhaps the only exceptions being those kids who are looked at as truly elite gamebreakers. I know we got Josh Williams back from sCUm a while back but I would still prefer to steer clear of kids like that in the future. Character thing. is it really a character issue when his dad played at KU? when it's in the family like that, its hard to turn down.. thatd be like baker turning us down last year... ya know? if he wants to recommit and theres room for him, take him.. hell, we need all the wide out help we can get. competition if nothing else. I think the fact that his dad played there is a mitigating factor when consdidering if it's a knock on his character, but I would still rather steer clear of a kid who flip flops. I'm just saying it's a red flag that should concern any team. It doesn't mean he's a bad kid, just something to consider.
