I feel bad that Boise St played their butts off this year and probably harder than anyone, and have no chance at the national title. They might not have the best athletes. But they play as a team better than anyone I have ever seen. It's like a great cook not sharing the ingredients to their great recipes. Boise St has a formula that works. I'll tell you this too. Boise St has become America's team. Not the media. but America. The media will always pull for the Notre Dames, USC's Michigans ect. I talk with fans and people all over the country and they all say the same thing. Boise St is fun to watch. A bunch of no namers who play as one unit and win. They have gained a lot of respect from all serious college football fans across the country. Wow.

I bet Boise St has another QB in the making or have their eye on one. They seem to recruit a certain style of people that maybe other schools overlook. Regardless, I love the way Boise St plays football. Wide open for 4 quarters.

I respect Notre Dame's traditions and touchdown Jesus ect. But darnit make Notre Damn earn the BCS. LSU played like a national champ team last night. Made all of the SEC proud. Even us Auburn fans who consider LSU our most hated rivals were enjoying watching ND get spanked. Jamarcus Russell is a monster. I'm with you guys. I am sick and tired of watching Notre Dame play in bowl games they don't deserve. That fake punt call immediately made me think of the one you tried on us. One thing about buying your ticket in the BCS is being embarassed by a better team when you shouldn't be in the game. Maybe thats why they have lost 12 bowl games in a row. Now that I posted this, watch Notre Dame win this game. LOL!!!! I reserve the right to withdraw my post. Hahahaha!!!

I hate USC. But I tell you, Pete Caroll makes playing football fun. His entire coaching staff is highly energetic. I did attend the Wash St - USC game in Pullman this past season and was extremely jealous we didn't have coaches like that. I sat right behind their bench and several times saw Pete run to the bench giving guys that screwed up noogies saying "isn't this fun"?? Talk about picking up a player who's moral is down. There are two ways to provide leadership. Scare them to suceed or encourage them and make them believe. But no doubt win or lose you can tell Pete Carroll loves college football. He's like a kid out there savoring every moment. He was even like that his first season at USC when they weren't as good. Each coach has his style. Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. lol WARRRRR EAGLEEEE!!!

Taylor is not bad. Wasn't he voted Big 12 player of the year? Could be worse. You could have our zombie QB Brandon Cox. I love the guy, he has heart. But darnit he can't move or buy himself time to find open receivers nor is he a leader. He's just quiet. No emotion. To be a champion, you have to play with passion and emotion. YOu have to want it. If your teamates see that, they'll want it too. WARRRRR EAGLE!!!!!

Nebraska has my vote. You guys are a microfiber away from putting it all together. Your defense is great. It will keep you in games. Get that offense figured out and you are on your way. WARRRR EAGLEE!!!

How about a perspective from an Auburn fan about that fake punt call. If I were an Auburn coach and saw that fake called that early in the game. It tells me one thing. The opposing coach is coming after me and he wants to win this game. It's easy for me to say I liked the call because it didn't work and it went in our favor. But just think, why did he call the play? To win the game. It just happen to be a mishandle handoff and it didn't work. My question is. How much time do they spend on these trick plays in practice? Did you see Boise St last night? They must have worked on those plays over and over. They perfected them and it payed off. I think if you are bringing trick plays to a game, make sure your guys can do it in their sleep. I think Bill Callahan will be fine. He's a great coach and is respected and will be feared in the coming years. He just needs to right personnel to run his offense. All he can do is do the best he can with what he has. Nebraska will be a force to wreckon with in the future. The Huskers might not be a number one team right now. But you can control being the number one fans in the nation. Remember the team feeds off their fans. They need you especially now. Go gettem Huskers!!! WARRRRRR EAGLEEEE!!!!

I think Boise was a great reward for Miami for their thug like season. No class there whatsoever.

Imagine being a playmaker type of recruit. I'd have fun playing for that offense. This game might have done wonders for their recruiting. Downside, it can get cold in Boise. lol

Other than the year Sabans LSU team won the national title. Auburn's record against him was pretty good. I'm not worried if he takes the Bama job. Be fun whipping his butt again. lol

I hate USC but loved watching them spank Michigan. I wonder if MIchigan still feels they should play Ohio St now? roflllllllll Oregon St beat USC. Boise St hammered Oregon St. Hmmmmmm See where I am getting at? Boise St vs Ohio St?? Two things I will think about. #1 If Ohio St runs Florida out of Arizona, would it had been a better matchup to put the two unbeatens in the BCS title game? #2 Florida defeats Ohio State in an Ugly low scoring game. Boise the last unbeaten shafted by the BCS? Boise ST can play some football I tell ya. lol

Why can't our coaches with far better talent open our offenses like that? That Boise St offense was fun to watch. WAy to go Boise!! Now I really hope Florida defeats Ohio St like in a 7-3 ball game and see Boise St as the only unbeaten shafted by the BCS. LOL Great year Boise!! This Auburn fan is a believer in your program now.

I'm glad Auburn didn't have to play Boise St. They would have lit us up like a xmas tree. All they would need to score was 20 pts to beat us since our offense plays like zombies. lol

I wasn't too keen on Zambranksi or however you spell his name either. I didn't like his attitude and how he smiled when he screwed up. Backyard football, I'd want him on my team. lol He didn't seem intimidated by OU. I'm not sure how Boise St would fair against Ohio St either. However I had to pull for the underdog since every broadcaster, media outlet picked OU to win big. lol As we know, OU has become a media darling much like USC.

Hey friends, I was wondering how you guys felt about watching Boise St upset your rivals last night. I know sometimes you pull for the Big 12 teams to win bowl games for the conference sakes. Did it not just make you laugh a little how Boise St gave the game back to Oklahoma and yet steal it away with a gutsy two point conversion call? So far that has been the Bowl game of the year to watch for me. The emotions and the momentum changes throughout and then the grand finally at the end. OMG I was in awe how Boise St not only had the guts to call these trick plays, but to see them perform them perfectly. Do you think Boise St could find a way to defeat Ohio St? It's ashame they go 13-0 and for the rest of their lives they can only wonder what migth have been. Or if Florida knocks off Ohio St in an ugly game and Boise St is left the only unbeaten with no chance to claim a national title. Memories of 2004 we went unbeaten in the SEC and no chance. We could only watch Oklahoma get spanked by USC that year in the national title game. Anyways , like to hear your thoughts about how you guys felt seeing Oklahoma outwitted last night.

IMO I thought I was watching two identical teams playing. Both defenses kepted the teams in the game and our offenses were pathetic. I am sure if I weren't an Nebraska or Auburn fan I would have not watched the cotton bowl. Boring. The TV coverage didn't help either. As an Auburn fan I still scratch my head wondering how in the heck did we go 11-2 this season? I'll take it. I know we praise our defenses for how they played in the Cotton Bowl. But were they really challenged by the offenses? I'm not sure. I think Auburn and Nebraska have a lot of question marks and we have to wait till next season to get those answers. WARRRRR EAGLE!!!!

As I stated in this forum previously. If Callahan would have kepted it simple and attacked us straight ahead and mixed a few pass plays in to keep us honest, I think you'd won hands down. Our defense was agressive. But our offense was non existant. Even thought we won, I feel your pain. I am so frustrated with our offense.

I think most logical Auburn fans know we got lucky with the win. Yes great to win it. And yes we did not show up on offense. We couldn't blow out Arkansas St, Ole MIss or Tulane either. Our offense has been bad for most of the season. Our defense has kepted us in our games. Especially in this one. Stat wise I think Nebraska pretty much won that part of it.

I think the right call was made. It did seem to be in the Nebraska player's hand prior to the Auburn guy getting a hold of it. The question is did either player have solid possession of it while they were falling down prior the Auburn guy ripping it out out of bounds? Hard to call. I think the best call was a no call and call it incomplete.
