  1. How about the Steelers. They have tradition, plenty of skers have come though. Plus they are famed for their hit you in the mouth type of football. What more could a husker ask for.
  2. Ya, im not going to lie, i have been to many many husker games and the CU v NU in 94 was by far the loudest experience of my life, music shows included. So the home field made a difference in that game. Though it didnt matter because we didnt win the Natitional Championship "we were handed it over Penn St."
  3. 10-4. With a significant win, a loss in the XII title game, and a close loss in the bowl game against a strong team. Not 4-8 or 5-7. However my brother predicted this. He stated that Keller was a goober, and Coz would do what he does best and force the O to wither. He is a Raider fan though, so he is a bit familiar with this turn of events, and Callahans lack of motivational skils.
  4. The catalyst in all those upsets has been desire. Unfortunetly we have a coaching staff with no desire to adjust and players with no desire to step up. However i will still be rooting for the red. Good Luck on the rest of your season. If there is one team in the north i would want to win other than us, it would be you guys. But thats not saying alot considering the other goons in the north. None the less Good Luck.
  5. If Callahan "resigns" then Osborne will not have been wrong. Not saying that will happen, just pointing out. Why would we fire him now. I know its bad, but chances are better that it would be worse if they got the ax now. The players have quit, they wouldnt decide to start playing with only 4 games left. We are freaking Nebraska. Our tradition provides us with longevity. We will be back whether the espn's of the world like it or not. The Kansas' and Missouris' will only be two or three year wonders. With that tradition comes responsibility. We hired a bad coach, but we must stick it out. Everyone in Husker Nation must. We cant just go out firing coaches left and right, what good would that do. Thats what seperates us from the other fans. This will only make us better in the future, but we cant forget who we are as much as what we are. We are... no we should, stick with Callahan til season's end. We would be showing him class even if he isnt.

  7. Nebraska wins 2-0 on a last second safety. Cozgrove would out-scheme himself into a good defense.
  8. 0-16 looks better It took him 4 years to "undo" what Devaney and Osborne did in 40
  9. Alot of this season makes no sense
  10. Any where from after the game on Sat. to the end of the season. We cant get to impatient here, thats why we are in this mess, that and Genius Callihan
  11. I hope to hell your wrong. This is a coup, if its ture.
  12. I hope to all hell your wrong. This is starting to resemble a coup
  13. That's my point exactly. As T.O. said during his news conference yesterday, the players need to concentrate on what happens on the field. When you're asked, "Is it a distraction," he's expected to say no? Correct me if I'm wrong, but he "admitted" that it was a distraction, but..... Read the rest of the article. TO, also said that "It can be a distration if you make it one."
  14. Eat gyros at Greorges, plus its right next to the strip of bars. I also like to follow the band into the stadium about an hour before kick off. But the best part of a trip is to just let it flow. You cant plan the best sh#t.
  15. James Simms (#31) Was a 25 year old senior during 95-96 season. Good running back out of Omaha, just had the misfortune of playing behind some great college backs. My favorite husker that may not be remembered by many in 20 years.
  16. Heys guys. Lurker for about 3 years. First time post. I love the way this kid played. Got the tough yards, Blocked could catch, and more time than not made the first man miss. I dont like when players leave early but he is a husker and i will follow him throughout his career. With that being said i think that only positives can come from this. The first being we sent another player to the league. Recruits eat that up and after all that was a main reason for the coaching change a few years back, and please correct me if im wrong but i think jackson was a solich recruit, so Coach C. also shown us he can develop some talent. Another positive that this brings, an opportunity for Lucky and Glenn to be a little more comfortable with their place in the lineup. Coach C. will have a little more flexabilty with his "game" plans, without having to worry about kepping eveyone happy. I look forward to your critiques and discussion. Happy to finally make my voice heard.
