It's mostly that he has a legitimate photographic memory and can recall entire games possession by possession, and often knows his opponents sets and plays better than they do. That combined with being a better passer/more point guard esque player. Not trying to "prove" the point just offer context behind not thinking its unreasonable.

Lebron will never have the invincibility, larger than life mythology, or uncompromising killer instinct of Michael. I would say though that he's the most physically gifted basketball player ever, and maybe not the smartest ever, but smarter than Michael. His IQ on the court is absolutely unreal, he's like a savant playing chess. Michael was no slouch, but the same thing that made Michael great also made him not quite as cunning; his ego/competitiveness.

"The condition of being good is that it should always be possible for you to be morally destroyed by something you couldn’t prevent. To be a good human being is to have a kind of openness to the world, an ability to trust uncertain things beyond your own control, that can lead you to be shattered in very extreme circumstances for which you were not to blame. That says something very important about the human condition of the ethical life: that it is based on a trust in the uncertain and on a willingness to be exposed; it’s based on being more like a plant than like a jewel, something rather fragile, but whose very particular beauty is inseparable from its fragility." - Martha Nussbaum

Firing Bo was the right decision. Hiring Riley wasn't...., but then again, most coaching hires end up failing. And despite the new lows on the field, I won't ever hold anything against Riley. He came in to do his best, he tried making aggressive moves, he handled himself and his program with integrity and kindness and embodied "not the victory; but the action" and he led us very well through the passing of Foltz.

But you just said heaven has no evil. So did God allow evil one time to create his adversary or do we always have the ability and choice and temptation of choosing evil, even when we're in heaven?

The 2020 Presidential Election - Convention & General Election
Landlord replied to TGHusker's topic in Politics & Religion
We're also not in a race against a ticking clock before Biden is appointed to a life long position with no competition for the job. -
So you're saying God has a penis. So, we have no free will in heaven? What an awesome utopia that sounds like.

So much for the hopes in the low death count yesterday being the start of a trend - today back up to 600

Pregnant women should ask the government for an extra $500 to see how much Republican politicians actually believe that a fetus is a child.

Athlon Sports take on NU going bowling on 2020..

Purdue had a down year last year but is as dangerous and talented as they've been in decades South Dakota State is a top 10 FCS program who lost to Minnesota by a touchdown last year, and played a solid TCU team very close recently too. Central Michigan should be a comfortable win. Northwestern always plays us close. The series is tied I think, and they're always formidable and play smart relatively mistake-free football. Illinois is finally showing some signs of promise and potential under Lovie. They beat a very good Wisconsin team as well as other teams we couldn't beat a year ago. Rutgers, who knows. Iowa has been averaging top 15-20 ten win seasons for the last five seasons. We've played them close but they've been on a very competitive streeak. Minnesota just had a dream season in their year 3 with a g5 hot commodity coach. We'll see if it lasts. -
I'm curious which one you're talking about, because there are many varying and contradicting ideas of God in the Bible. The genocidal ethnocentric nation state God is pretty horrendous, to be sure. The Jesus of Nazareth version seems pretty quality though. The Holy Spirit one and the one who made creation also seem alright.

Bill Moos wants new revenue streams - maybe including alcohol at games
Landlord replied to knapplc's topic in Husker Football
This conversation is about alternative revenue streams including selling alcohol. So we're gonna serve beer at the games we aren't going to play? -
I believe the idea is that hundreds of thousands of us are already infected and have no idea or are asymptomatic. Even healthy people occasionally cough and sneeze, so if we're all wearing masks that prevents our sneezes/coughs from potentially spreading it. Edit: Thought you said wouldn't, not would.

Them being a G5 team and us having lots of money and a big stadium are completely irrelevant. -

The stories of touching are the types of things we've seen in photos and videos from Biden for years. Nothing overt, nothing explicit, just creepy uncomfortable old man behavior. That to shoving fingers into a vagina is a very far stretch. It's been like a day. Maybe two. It's not 'interesting' or an indictment on people to not respond to things the absolute second they happen. She might not have even heard about it until this afternoon. -

Trim the expendable staff who don't make a lot of money because the $50+ million a year in TV revenue isn't enough to go around, and we can't be reducing the pay of the millionaire 1% staff. Obviously neither is a real option. Note: I'm only responding to language of the bullet point haven't read through the article. We've basically been printing money the last few years, and we might need to lay people off? -
