Yes I could. Now would I? No. No fricking way. The bottom line is that jump on the skateboard is accomplished with gaining proper speed and elevation. I've been snowboarding and it takes zero skill...just practice. The jump the snowboarder does, all he does is stand on the board. The wax on the bottom of the board, the incline packed with snow provides the requisite speed and all he does is go up the ramp and enjoy the ride. Surfing. Are you seriously saying that only a select group of people can learn to surf? Anybody with a complete lack of regard for their own physical well-being can surf, snowboard or ride a bmx bike and do the tricks these guys do...with enough practice. No matter how much I train, practice and/or prepare I could never run a 4.3 40, dunk a basketball, etc. I forgot to mention, no, you really couldn't do that. Have you ever seen women's skate competitions? If skateboarding is as you say, and the only thing you need to be successful is practice, then the women should be equally good as the men, but it is far from the case. The women can hardly get above the coping on a halfpipe, and can't even come close to the technical maneuvers that the men do in street and park skating.

Skateboarders and bicyclists aren't athletes? Surfing is X Games related, yet you ask if it's a sport or not? Snowboarding and skiing aren't either? What exactly is your definition of sport (normally the people who voice their thoughts about certain competitive mediums not being considered sports is because they don't require athletic skill, but that obviously can't be all there is to your argument..)?

We weren't exactly playing for a national championship last year... Did you not see the post of the UNL grad who was in school from '93 - '96, who said they routinely rushed the field? The "act like we've been there before" argument is absurd and prideful. Yeah, we've been there before, but it's been awhile. I'm sure Minnesota fans wouldn't sit on high horses and stay off the field, even though they have been there before. I'm not saying I want to see people rush the field, I don't really, but the reason is because of safety, not because we are too proud of a team (that hasn't done anything since 2001) to participate in an activity that is a result of overwhelming joy for our team and program.

Is that really chemistry, or just common sense? Same with Ganz' "chemistry" with Swift and Peterson....sounds to me like he just knew the offense and knew where they would be and if they were covered, he would get them open by running around.

I guess I just dont' really understand how Ganz had this insanely great chemistry with Swift and Peterson. He was a 1 year + 4 game starter in his career. Sure he split time at the 1 spot with Keller in '07 spring ball, but that isn't going to be much less time that Lee has spent with his receivers.

I think that the system should be left as is, and then when the bowl season is over (except shorten the bowl season considerably, with ALL of the bowls ending on the 1st), have a final four of the four most impressive teams at the end of the season. the biggest complaint i hear is when a team playing in a bcs bowl that isn't the championship game stomps on their opponent, and then whines that they should have had a shot. well, now they do get their shot for playing well in their bowl game.

If 300 isn't special, why are 500 and 1,000? It's special if you want it to be special, and most people look for things like this to be special, hence it is special. Really easy to understand.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Don't except it to be anything more than a summer blockbuster with big f*cking robots and you will too.

Visitor-section at Lane Stadium is in sections 17, 19, 37, and 39, so if you buy tickets in those sections you will be standing near other Huskers. That may be the visitor section, but come gametime, the NEBRASKA section will be at least 5 sections bigger

Don't put it on EA, put it on the NCAA dev team. The Madden team has made enormous strides this year, Fight Night looks to be a great addition, Tiger Woods is still really good, etc. etc. etc. Some of the EA Sports games are really bad (Live, NCAA) and some of them are really good, or are being worked very hard on.
