Whoever made the comment about how they never used to jump around back in the glory days, I don't think it was because they thought of it as their job to do and that they were just getting ready to go pummel the opponent, or whatever you said. I think it had more to do with Tom Osbourne's demeanor as head coach, if anything.

Thanks for the plug Husker Power (I run the wiki, huskrplya) I actually put in a request to wikia to install an extension that allows me to embed youtube videos into wiki pages, but they haven't replied in action or email yet, so that is on hold. Anyways I am still extremely busy so if you want to make individual pages for those videos or else just a "Husker Football Video Projects" page, huskrplaya, that would be excellent because I am looking for all content I can get until I can contribute more regularly. Tell me you predicted a tight opening game vs. Maine a few years ago. OK, let's compare Nevada with Troy (last year's teams), just for the sake of having a halfway close side-by-side. Troy finished 8-5 on the year, playing a pretty similair schedule in terms of strength, Nevada finished 8-5 as well. We beat troy by a whopping fifty-six points. Now, you are right, we are replacing the STARTERS on the entire defensive line, but we have new starters that have already proven themselves to be legitimate as was pointed out by SkrsOVRsc. Grixby somehow in all of his absolute pathetic horribleness [/sarcasm] found a way to not get burned or give up too many plays that game, OH MY GOODNESS HOW DID HE DO IT. Lucky had 180+ yards against Troy, and funnily enough he ended up with over 800 yards of "runningback" stats when he competed with THREE other people. Now, the next point; Purify had two catches in the Troy game for a total of 45 yards. I don't have the stat on hand, but I'm pretty sure we accumulated well over 500 yards of total offense, so you subtract that 45 and then let's say 20 more yards because without Purify's catches there weren't two first downs, still over 400 yards of offense, not bad. I am not saying that freaky things couldn't happen (it being a close game), I am just saying that is unlikely and you make it sound like we need to be extremely cautious.

I accept that the changes are here, and I have no regrets as to them, but I will personally never forget the likes of Frazier, Crouch, Rozier, Rodgers, Ahman, Gill, etc. The mystique and aura of Nebraska is spearheaded by it's tradition, first and foremost. The three things I think of when I think of Nebraska's tradition are class, dominance, and the option. That's just me.

I did not realize that, seeings how I find Dane Cook to not really be all that funny. Thanks for clearing that up for me though, now I don't despise him as a person as well.

If any of you resident video-editing gurus could help me with this, I would be extremely thankful. I'm looking for some husker video files to start doing video editing with. I want to get into this hobby and maybe someday career, and I can't really think of anything else I would like to start with other than Husker football. If someone could make a zip file of highlights or just whatever and send it to me or host it somewhere for a download it would be wonderful. Thanks for your time regardless! Oh yeah, just for good measure.

The MSU fans seemed pretty respectful to me, at least most of them, you can't expect them all to be like that, even the best fans in college football have tons and tons of idiots and rude folk.

nobody uses the N with Huskers in front of it anymore. The other n obviously is used a lot, but it looks like the same font as the "NEBRASKA" that you see everywhere (including my sigs) and I see both of them all the time. I guess all I was getting at is that the NEBRASKA has become just as much of a logo, so I don't get why that guy had a problem with it? IDK but don't take me as completely retarded

Um, what logo are you talking about? As far as I know the old logos aren't really used by the university anymore, and I never really see much in terms of a logo except for the word Nebraska, which is present on the sigs.
