This could be very good. I think the possibility of Bo leaving for Ohio St. goes WAY down if he has to transfer within the same division/league. How he feels about it? Who knows, probably mixed feelings, but I don't think he's real pleased with the Big 12, especially officiating. So, I'm gonna guess he's more happy than not on this one

Bit off-topic.. but what is with Mangino, Leach, now possibly Leavitt (others?) getting fired? Are these class of schools having money issues or something? It just seems bizzare that these football programs that were basically nothing before their fired/potentially fired coach came in are getting sh#t-canned based on what appears to be pretty weak evidence/infractions.

Not I. I think we have a legit shot at the conference championship and a possible national championship next year.. if everything clicks. I like the fact that Bo isn't coaching for 3-4 years down the road, he's trying to win now and.. well it seems to be working

1) I see our current OC situation much like I saw our pevious DC situation. We had a productive offense and an under-productive defense and Callahan refused to let Cosgrove go which ultimately was his downfall. Now we have a productive defense and an under-productive offense.. does Bo refuse to let Watson go? We shall see.. but I really think it's about the same situation flipped. 2) 2 big offensive recruits decommit (QB & WR). I think that has much more to do with the fact that the offense looked miserable against Texas and probably scared the sh#t out of two pass-oriented recruits. I very much doubt that they would know anything more about Watson staying/leaving than anyone else. 3) Ganz coming in. Well, he's coming in as an intern.. not exactly getting put on the staff full time. Ganz was a great game manager and understood the offense pretty well. He was one of those players that really seemed like he had a good grasp of the scheme/strategy on the offense... which tells me he will probably become a good coach one day.. but for now he's coming back to NU primarily to learn.

Is the end of the play on an incomplete pass the responsibility of the official or the game clock operator? if it was the operator's responsibility then I guess that might constitute egrigous error.. but if it's on the official, how can a 1 second call be called egrigous? Also... is the superimposed gameclock in the replay 100% accurate? I hear rumors of people on the sidelines near it seeing the clock at 0.

Agreed. Suh has been like a broken record this year saying he came back "to win championships". KState on Saturday is for the North! We don't get a shot at the Big 12 unless we get past KState. Suh will be an animal come saturday.

You're not just channeling the Shatel article, are you? Weird how this comes up the same day Shatel writes about our offense's lack of identity. Same phrases and everything. link article? haven't seen it. but maybe there's a reason making the same points?

I'm not seeing a clear identity with this offense. It seems every game we see an entirely different offense and an entirely different focus. Say what you want but i did like BC's attitude of "we take what we want" vs. the attitude now of "we take what they give us". What do we do when they don't give us anything? We get the VT and MU games.

I don't know.. to me he is the head coach and as such is responsible for both sides of the ball. People have much praise for Watson.. but to me he's been very inconsistent. The defense has established its identity. It's time the offense does as well, ultimately that falls on BO.
