Agreed, it's one thing if he's intense and saying, "We gotta work on that so we don't get stupid penalties" as opposed to "You tell your *bleep*ing *bleep* to get his *bleep* together or his *bleep*ing *bleep* is gonna be sitting on the bench!" I'd rather see someone intense than saying, "We're excellent in all areas". No throat slash gestures either, so I'd say he's keeping himself contained.

I saw in the Omaha World Herald that Thunder gets Life in Prison plus something like 110 years. Did they do so there is no chance for parole? A few things that stink is that I'm sure there are critics that are badmouthing the Nebraska program as a whole for an individual act of someone who hasn't been a part of the Cornhuskers for a long time. Also, 1620 making a joke out of this is in bad taste. I guess whatever builds up your ratings. I imagine if he said, "I ain't no snitch", perhaps he wasn't the mastermind, and maybe just maybe he didn't pull the trigger either. Who knows, maybe he wasn't about to rat out (snitch) the others who were there, and didn't get the plea bargin.

Thank you, I'm glad I wasn't the only one seeing OU getting away with offensive holding over and over again. I was calling it out loud and was getting frustrated because the Refs were blind. Maybe with out Defense dominating like it has been, they are trying to do what they can to help out our opposition.

In my opinion, the only way someone could not call it a rivalry is because Nebraska and Oklahoma don't play each other every year. Back in the day, the Nebraska vs Oklahoma game would determine the winner of the Big 8, and who was going to play in the Orange Bowl most likely for the National Championship. The Big XII messed up a good think having Nebraska vs Colorado the day after Thanksgiving. I grew up to the Cheers, the Fears and the Tears of the Nebraska vs Oklahoma rivalry. It will always be something more than just another game. It's the battle of the Big Red's.

I'm 38 and I can remember sitting down with left over turkey sandwiches, all kinds of junk food and watching Nebraska vs Oklahoma on the day after Thanksgiving. In all honesty, it was a sad day when The Big 8 became the Big Twelve. I wish for days when the crowd was so loud you couldn't hear the announcers, when you'd see oranges hit the field, and even the dreaded "Sooner Magic". Those were the days.

1983 was an amazing year. I remember Nebraska lighting up the scoreboard, and they were a 2 point conversion away from the National Championship that year. Nebraska's "triplets" were awesome too.

Just got done playing Baylor on the PS2, and hopefully at least the score we get is correct. 1st Quarter, Baylor scores first, up 7-0 and Nebraska responds with a gound it out running game and they tie it up 7-7 at the end of the 1st. 2nd quarter both teams go scoreless but Nebraska is dominating on Defense with Suh and Co raking in 5 Sacks in the 2nd quarter. In the 3rd, both Nebraska and Baylor get 2 TD's to make it 21-21. We may be in for a barn burner down to the wire game. At the start of the 4th, Zach Lee passes to a wide open receiver who turns on the jets and scores to bring Nebraska ahead 28-21. Baylor is on the ropes and Nebraska forces 4 turn overs and capitalizes on all of them for the final score being 56-21. We shall see. I was playing the game foaming at the mouth all the way through and each time Nebraska scored late in the game I was throwing my arms up in the air yelling "Touchdown Nebraska!". I'll see how the Oklahoma game plays out now.

I remember when Nebraska and Oklahoma faced each other the day after Thanksgiving, it would rain oranges. Now, both teams are trying to become bowl eligible? What do we toss onto the field when Nebraska scores? Plastic Bowls? If Nebraska wins the rest of their games, we could go 9-3, and I'm not sure if that's enough to win the Big XII North or not. 9-3 or 8-4 are still doable at this point. Keep the faith. We could still land in a good if not great bowl game.

I'm kind of partial to the Hawkeyes because my in laws are Hawkeyes fans and live in Iowa, but you have to give Iowa credit because they have heart and their season reminds me of Nebraska in 1993 with the "We Refuse To Lose" attitude and motto. Iowa has done something they have NEVER done before. They are 8-0 in 8 games. I saw the replay of the game and they played with a lot heart.
