The major thing I didn't expect is to see our d-line get beat. Whether or not FAU had full protection was little concern to me, I fell they were pushed back often and lacked the pressure I feel is necessary to win big games. Obviously this was the first game and it was against FAU but what did you guys thing was a little unexpected.

Turf toe takes FOREVER to heal..remember Cory Ross and his turf toe problem, it could take all season to full recover.

You cant make the big screen all video simply because of the format. Look at how wide it is and imagine stretching an image acrossed it, it would be extremely distorted. Second, the smaller screens are already chopped on the top and bottom with advertisements to fit the format of the big screen, 16x9 im assuming. So simply no can do... Improvements 1. Better sound system.. i know crowd noise is important, but gimme some sound especially in the south endzone!!! 2. I like the new paint job on the skyboxes, but i think the white lines look ameteur and somewhat tacky 3. Add some seats..20,000 or so 4. Add another big screen on the south endzone with skyboxes and remove teh small 4 screens, does anyway actual watch those?? Build something really cool underneath to support it and remove the engineering building, who needs it

Man cry me a few more rivers about espn hating Nebraska. Whether it may or not be true who cares, don't complain everyday how nobody likes usand how were always underrated. We may be always criticized because were once the best college football team ever and now were simply mediocore. So quit the complaining about espn and depend on fox for your sports

Lee is going to be #1 all year and next year. Id rather see Latravis Washington be #2 and put him in various wildcat formations and have him ready in an event that Lee goes down. This will redshirt Green and have him ready to take over the QB position after next year. Green will have plenty of knowledge of the system and give Gabbert 2 years to learn the system as well. See how that nice system works out, if only it were that easy

I personally really like the all white uniforms..i think it looks pretty sharp and realy brings out the red N's on our helmets..

Also check craigs list.. there always seems to be some tickets on there, and people are sometimes willing to negotiate the price

just an observation..but would it of looked better to extend the board across the whole front side of the balcony? it just seems its cut short and something should be placed there

With all do respect... the option based offense is forever gone at Nebraska. Keep in mind offensive cordinators(Watson) are paid to win games and run the offense effectively. Face it.. the option is a dying art in which our current players have little skill running. However, Lee is supposively an effective runner so I guess we will see if an option hybrid is utilized. I assure you that Watson will not run the option to make a few fans happy and I wouldnt expect him to. I would look for more of the quarterback read and watch Lee scramble for a few yards here and there..keep in mind that we have a young quarterback crew and an injury to Lee would not be a good situation.

Don't you think we should work our way up with actually beating Missouri and Kansas consistantly before we whine about poor competition. The big 12 (including the North) has some of the best competion in the country IMO.

I disagree... The north has indeed has been weak, however Missouri and Kansas were top 10 teams the past few years and Nebraska is hopefully on its way. Why mess with a system that has only been flawed as of late. Big 12 games for the most part are enjoyable and it gives weaker teams..like Nebraska in the north a chance to play in the Championship. Would you just want to see Texas vs. Oklahoma every year? And also like mention above..the big 12 doesnt want to drop one of its big teams down the rankings and lose out on money. In case you haven't noticed, money is kinda a big deal...just look at the BCS.

Haha easy guys.. I was just talking one game. My post had no intention to change the helmets, just something a little different for "one" game, like the 1969 helmet with N U on the side. Marketing schemes bring interest and revenue to the University, and thats exactly what it would be..marketing. Most of you believe our image shouldn't change, but I must point out that our style has been changing since the beginning. The huskers are who they are on the field, thats what I firmly believe because two years ago I wouldn't call some of the players huskers even though they were indeed wearing the colors.

Haha I tell you what, you mess with uniforms, helmets, colors, etc. and things get interresting. I do like that vintage 1969 helmet with the N U on the side for one game, or the all leather version.

All this talk about uniforms..what about an alternative helmet. I don't believe Nebraska has ever experimented with that but I could be wrong. I love our current helmets, I was just thinking of something for one game or two.
