  1. Ill Be enjoying it from that middle couch seat. Scotch and Bourbon in the back corner and a kegerator with 10 kegs of homebrew just steps away in the garage. There will also probably be some smoked wings in there somewhere as well.
  2. I try and make 1 or 2 games a year but I'll watch 98% of all other games from my couch. 100" projection screen, 10 kegs of homebrew, and some wings right from my smoker is a much better deal then any bar. Plus, I cannot stand barstool coaches/refs.
  3. I don't see how one could argue that the D failed against Illinois or even Wisconsin. You hold a team to 2 or 3 scores, and you should win. However, I do have concerns about the D overall. I'd argue the D failed against BYU, Miami, Northwestern, and Purdue though. Yeah, because the D gave it to the other team 4 times in our own territory. Our offensive gameplan failed us in the Purdue game. BYU game....Sure, but first game of the season in a brand new system, things were bound to break down. Miami...Ok. Yeah. TA ultimately did throw the last YOLO pick though. Purdue had 100 more yards against us than their season average. We gave up 55 points to them. You can't say that the D did not fail against Purdue. Our offense gave Purdue like 3-4 possessions with around 20 yards to go to score. And our defense should have been able to stop Purdue. Doesn't matter how good of a defense you have, giving a short field multiple teams to any offense is tough, especially when you do it on consecutive possessions. Also, our defense should have stopped a lot of teams over the last few years and didn't. Sad but true. I just get riled up when people all/almost all the blame on our defense for games like that. It doesn't matter how good of a defense you have if your offense cant hold onto the ball or sustain any drives. I think the offense didn't help matters, of course. But Purdue scored 55 points. They didn't score above 38 in any other game. Defense allowed some sh#t that they shouldn't have. This. I'll forgive the D for the short field issues. But what about the rest of that dumpster fire? And unless someone blew an assignment, which it doesn't appear they did, that was just a poor defensive call leaving the WR in single coverage (and a nice play by the QB and WR on the play). Stuff happens. Throwing Fyfe out there with that game plane was far more of foolish move than anything else I saw that day. And it was the biggest factor in the loss. Well, this might be one of the only things I've ever agreed with CM on. The defense in general wasn't spectacular that game but the Offense(And offensive coaching staff) definitely deserves at least half credit for that dumpster fire.

  7. Go away. Can't handle the truth, I see There's zero truth to anything you say. You are just full of negativity. Find another team to follow in the meantime since you hate Riley and this staff so much. It's 4 games into a completely new scheme. Chill the F out. The negativity with Husker fans the last 10 years is sickening. So are delusional fans who only want a nice coach.. It's ok to expect more from your coaches. they may be 2-2 but they very easily could be 1-3... I think we would need to go back into early 60's to find another NU team with a 1-3 start... My point is that this is a brand new staff and we are 4 games into a completely new system. Do I see some concerning things? Sure, but I'm not about to go jump off the bridge or throw a for sale sign into Mark Bankers front yard. It's called calm the f down. There is zero need to go jump off the ledge. I'm sorry, I'm not somebody who is going to sit there and bash this coaching staff or throw this season away like the vast majority of you. You people expect immediate results, that's not how this works most of the time. There's been improvement with this team, and theres been things that really need to get cleaned up but I trust our coaching staff to make the changes that need to be done. They are still finding their groove. Just chill out. This is the guy we have. Get behind and support him. He isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

  9. And what kind of hire would have a greater than zero guarantee of success? There's never any guarantee, but Id rather have a guy with experience than a person who comes in with zero head coaching experience.
  10. Completely disagree with needing to bring back an ex player for a coach. We didnt need another training wheels coach. There is zero guarantee that would suceed.
  11. Well, I want to win the lottery but sometimes that just doesn't happen. This season has just barely begun. Just relax and quit freaking out about the season already.
  12. I appreciate this board and other social media for confirming my dislike of most of the Husker fan base. Some of you are just beyond reason. This is game THREE of a new era. We all expected some bumps along the way. Calm tf down and keep supporting this team and staff. Bashing the coaches, or kids isn't going help the matter. We were essentially 2 plays away from 3-0 and lost to two pretty damned decent teams. But, keep bashing away or complaining. If you aren't going to support this team and this staff in its infancy, then go find another team to root or bash for. I hear Ole Miss is doing pretty good. Pathetic adults.
  13. That same defensive coach held Wiscy to 7 when Bo held them to 70.... Not saying it's the greatest hire, but give the guy a Damon chance with some actual athletes! Fck...
  14. Agreed Dude. Riley is a much better choice than Frost.
  15. I would approve of this hire. Yes, yes I would.
  16. I'm pretty sure I would have been 10x more disappointed had Frost been hired as head coach of Nebraska. He inherited a great offense, and has continued the status quo. He is no where near ready to RUN a program by himself, He has barely had a YEAR as a OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR. Man, I dont understand how people are in such a tizzy about the Riley hire but would have welcomed an unproven rookie head coach just because he has NU ties. Asinine
  17. Sigh....the pick was due to the receivers messing up, not TA. Regardless..seriously that game is way over. Who cares
  18. Let's be honest here. There are things said on EVERY sideline that if fans heard they would freak out and cry foul. There was sh#t said on the sideline of my high school when I played that would have made patents line up with pitchforks and torches. To sit, cry and only try to crucify Bo is ridiculous. These players are adults and can take criticism and yelling. If you can't take the heat then get out of the kitchen.
  19. Bo expects more from the team, as he damn well should. Id be more concerned if Bo had zero or very few complaints. If somebody makes a mistake they deserve to be called out on it. I have zero issue with Bo on how he conducts his interviews or deals with his team.
  20. It doesn't matter what happens or how/what Bo says or does, some of you will still continue to find something to complain about. Is actually fairly amazing.
  21. Seriously? We just dominated a Rutgers team that we should have and some of you are still complaining. Can't you just go away?
  22. You are pathetic dude. The vast mallet of coaches would have done exactly what Bo did in that situation.. also, if that kick would have worked you would be singing his praises, not bashing him. Pathetic.
  23. Wow. Just wow. You really think benching our starting players AND LEADERS of this team would have helped? Would Fyfe or Cross playing have made the o line better? Man, I seriously can't believe some Nebraska "fans"
  24. Why are you so hung up on that onside kick? Get over it man. It didn't change the game or cost us the game. He made that decision because he thought it would be best to try and get the ball right away without dicking around and wasting two minutes by playing defense. Get over it man
