  1. Ok, Tmart on the zone - read.......50 yds and a blur. Get em'!!
  2. TO..... May the road rise to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again; may God hold you in the palm of his hand. An Irish Blessing
  3. Pushing Tmart to start? Really?
  4. The Caveman kicks ass & takes names!
  5. Haha..the Hawkeyes lose another home game already. I guess we won't be overwhelmed with their fans this year.
  6. Yep, good point. I don't recall him ever doing that before either.
  7. I feel so stupid. Where did this guy come from? I thought he was at best 3rd at the center position? Anyways, so glad to be totally wrong. He's a road-grader!
  8. 2010 was a "dreadful" offense? Sure, it caved in after Tmart's injuries but for the year is was wayyyyyy better than 2009.
  9. Agree it's not the whole story - but he didn't have 5 seconds very often Saturday either. For once he moved outside of the pocket. We call it scrambling...something he has never done well in his career. If there is one improvement in his game that was noticible that was it. The receivers are going to drop some balls, welcome to football. Prepare yourself for it. It will happen. Defenses will collapse the pocket quicker than Southern Miss. Count on it. However, if Taylor can continue to have the awareness that he showed on Saturday, buy himself some time and progress through his reads...I can almost guarentee you with the talent we have at WR there will be someone open. Not like our wrs have the last three years. Not even remotely close as they've been pass dropping machines for both Z. Lee & Tmart. That performance is acceptable to "you" but to no other Div1 coach.
  10. Damn straight! Receivers who catch the damn ball helps massively. Kudos to our wrs for their best performance in over three years.
  11. Yep. I watched it again yesterday and as you say, the defenders looked all the world like the 2010 KSU defenders where they could barely swivel their heads fast enough to watch him fly away. It sure looks like da skers was right.
  12. That's a great way of putting it. Very well said.
  13. I can't imagine the Bruins stuffing our offense. No way. We'll rack up some points. The blackshirts vs the Bruins? Anything less that total failure results in a NU win.
  14. Okey doke. Sounds good to me. Thanks da skers.
  15. Me too. It's 10,000 times easier to root for Big10 teams than the BigXII. In a way, like the Big8. The Big10 simply has our kind of people.
  16. Awesome post, Duke. Thank you sir!
  17. QB - A+ RB - A WR/TE - A+ Oline - A- Dline - D LB - D Secondary - C+ Special teams - D- OC - A+ DC - C- (cutting a little slack for an opponent with new coaches)
  18. You're putting words into people's mouths. Thinking we'll beat a crappy UCLA team by 21 doesn't mean people think it's the new norm because of one game. It only means they think we'll beat a crappy UCLA team by 21. Here are a few reasons why I think we'll win by 17+: 1. It's the first away game so the team will be excited for that. 2. It's a... not sure how to say this, so I'll say "big name program." even though that's not quite right. But whatever you want to call UCLA, it's not the type of team Nebraska has overlooked in the past. They'll be excited to prove themselves and play a team from a BCS conference that has some history. 3. UCLA was very unimpressive against one of the worst teams in the country, and they were bad last tear as well. Exactly. There's simply no proof that UCLA is any kind of real force. We play reasonably well we should win. Our WRs continue to catch the ball, we'll win easily. That's all.
