I agree. I can understand why he decommited from NU with all of the uncertainty and transition we are going through. I understand he wants to go play for someone who took the Patriots to 3 Super Bowls. He wants to join the #1 recruiting class in the nation and win a National Championship. I could never choose another school other than Nebraska if I had the chance to play here. I don't care if we went 0-11 the year before and USC, Florida, Ohio State, etc were coming after me. I'd choose Nebraska. I UNDERSTAND why other kids would want to go somewhere else. But don't ask any of us to wish a Nebraska native luck when he abandons his state. If he doesn't want to be a part of this program. Fine by us, his loss. We understand. We don't need the guys who don't want to play for us. We obviously don't want to wish bad upon anyone. But we're not going to say good luck. We're going to say, "Hopefully we get to line up against you sometime."

From the GPA and ACT score, he'll need to do a lot of work to be academically eligible at Nebraska.

Haha, honestly, I smiled and thought to myself "Wow, I didn't even think CU was going after this guy." Without even thinking to myself you might be kidding. I'm willing to give this kid a shot. He's a smart kid. His GPA and ACT scores show that. He has a lot to prove as many critics downgrade him because he had 0 stars. That will just be more fuel to his work ethic. I can't wait to see where this kid is in 3 years.

Seriously though, give some insight as to why instead of just a No, what was so bad about those uniforms? They look pretty much the same as the uniforms now, they just had that thick red stripe. I agree. I have always thought the side-panel jerseys were sharp as hell. I agree as well. I've told my friends over and over that the 2004 Uniforms were my favorite. Everyone thought they were too Goddy, and needed to go back to the old fashioned "Nebraska" look. Well this year, I say: "New season. . . new looks"

Hawkins has guaranteed the CU players get more vacation than the NU players do.

Yeah! We have 1 four star, and 1 five star left. Not sure how commited Dan Hoch is. I agree we need kids with heart and determination as TO says. But we also can't really afford to lose all of our talent and expect to compete with the best with a bunch of kids that bleed NU red, but aren't necessarily as talented.
