Quit trying to make sense of something that doesn't. It is based on number of members and visitors to that school's web page and who they can get to spend more money. They are a complete joke that Callahan had you buy into. Let it go people... there is no need to listen to them or pay for their info.

For Missouri I hope that the kid plays like he did in HS. I don't know how he'll stay healthy against the Big 12 if he couldn't do it in HS.

Unless the kid was on a video phone call, how the hell is he supposed to know? All the kid got was PHONE calls/interviews. So unless the Cal coach is mic'd up for the TV game, he'd have no idea. George Bush could call my house and I'd have no idea who he was by the sound of his voice. I see your point to a degree... but to say you wouldn't be able to tell George Bush's voice????? Have you never listened to him on the radio or the TV??? Thats not so believable.

I hated Callahan but he had NOTHING to do with the schedule last season. And he didn't have anything to do with this coming seasons schedule either. I agree with the next post however that if you don't go, plenty of other people will. I have season tickets and although I would like to see better teams come, the ticket price isn't really that much and I am more than willing to pay it and go see the team that I LOVE, then to not go.

The only way I see that this (his page) is relevant is to know when that was actually posted. Was it updated today? Or was it posted before his backing off as a commit? Time will tell... Although I hope he becomes a Husker, I hope he does what is right for himself more. If that means he becomes a Husker than great... If not, then I wish him the best where ever he ends up.

Thank you! If we learned more than one thing the last four years it is that you need someone who can coach and teach... not just recruit. Can BO coach and teach? YES Don't ever get to cought up in the star rankings any longer. How many stars did Ganz have? How many did Zac Taylor have? You need young men willing to learn and coaches able to teach and put them in the right place to succeed. BO is much better in those regards than our last coach is

Have we become this desperate to find players....? The cost of the trip alone makes it a joke to schedule them, especially if your doing it to find recruits that may or may not pan out. It is cheaper to fly the recruits to Nebraska and let them see our program and facilities. And we shouldn't have to promise mainland recruits a trip to Hawaii to get them to come to Nebraska, if that is the reason they are coming, then it is for the wrong reasons. The more I think about this proposition, the more I am against it. The average Nebraskan can't afford season tickets in Lincoln, let alone a trip to Hawaii for one game. This is a bad idea, and the money could be better used. If most can't afford season tickets to the home games how can they afford any away trip? I have season tickets and they aren't "that expensive". I spent double my season ticket price to go to the Big 12 Championship game last year at Arrowhead. I would believe that when you take the drive or flight along with hotel cost anyone going to an away game spends more than they would for the season tickets. If you don't want to go to the game or can't afford to then don't... but don't say this is a bad idea just because it doesn't fit for you. And by the way, no where in there did it say that nebraska would bring recruits over with them to see a game there. We wouldn't bring recruits to any away game. Helps when you know what your commenting on!

The man is a genius. He was an excellent football coach, but that's the extent of it. He's 0-1 in terms of hiring head coaches. I hope this time he makes a better selection than he did last time. His last hire put us where we are today. It was NOT his hire that put us here. He didn't hire Solich and lets just say for argument sake that he did. Was it Frank that got us here or was it Pedersen and Callahan? Fanks last year he was 10-3. Did Callahan ever reach that level? NO! freemason I respect you for being a mason, if you really are, but I don't respect many of your opinions... there usually not fact based!

Remember that Wanstadt (Spelling??) was Pedersen's 1st choice here 4 years ago. He just didn't get him. Seems like a great marriage to me. A coach who sucks and an AD that sucks even more!

Maybe in your eyes....... EXACTLY! Only one opinion... Husker Nation is strong and will pull this one out for their beloved coach!

I am not a huge Bo fan like a lot of people are, but if you exclude every coach that has had games not go their way you'd have no coaches left to choose from. We finally agree Dave H. That is amazing!

And that will prove what? That Callahan was a failure of a coach. He has the talent but his schemes didn't give them the chance to win. He maybe an offensive genious but he can't coach his way out of a wet paper bag! Looking forward to spring ball and beyond! GBR!!!

Well... if I was going to beat the Huskers a strong running game would surely be a big part of the game plan. Don't think we can say it is a W for us. Just hope that we put up a ton of points and you can't catch up!

It was the standard stuff... the only difference was we had a quarterback that had all the time he needed to pass for the most part and he gave receivers time to get their routes down the field. He threw more intermediate to deep balls in this game than we have seen all year. The other thing that happened is that a couple of receivers found their hands and were actually catching balls. It's amazing how it works when they actually "catch" the ball. Good game Joey and company! To bad your jackass coach has to take "ALL" of the credit when you do something right and hide behind his agent when everything is going wrong!

just news. and it is relevant. 5 star quarterbacks aren't bad. also i think it is hard to blame the kid. you only get one chance to play college football. would you want to come into a situation like this? the situation is completely different than Josh Seaman. 5 STAR? Are any of us putting that much into this rating system anymore? Anyway, good for him. Go play for Gary Pinkel and see how many conference championships you get! By the way, does anybody but me wonder how Freeman feels today? He chose KSU over NU and has lost both times to us. I am sorry we missed out on him, but with performances likes Ganz's today it makes it not seem like such a big deal. That only makes me realize we can't fret over any recruit we don't get.... cause you just don't know if they will ever work out. Anybody believe Freeman would be the strater here if he had come? After today, I sure don't think so. He wouldn't have last year with Zac and could he have beaten out Joey? I don't think so, and I BELIEVE that is the real reason he went to KSU. As for Gabbert... Not as shameful as how he's been treated for 5 weeks. THAT'S SHAMEFUL! Or the way he coached for 5 weeks. That is shameful! So you're justifying blood thirsty hate mongerring and a lynch mob mentality because of bad coaching calls? Sure he didn't coach well but it's not about HIM, it's about how the coaches families and children have been treated. When that line was crossed by the fans, which is was with Cosgrove's kid in a HS football game and Callahans family just moving to not deal with anything, that is disgraceful. Hell of a lot more shameful than a bad coaching job. THEN those same fans standing over the walkway want to make amends and they get mad when he doesn't kiss their asses, it's ridiculous! He doesn't need them and in a couple weeks we won't need him anymore either. I don't know why fans can't just be civil and let him be after a win. I don't want him to coach next year either but I don't tear him down like "the best fans in college football". Now it's about his family? I DO NOT condone any mistreatment of any body in his family. Whether it be his wife, kids, uncle or anyone else. That is SHAMEFUL of any body to do and they should have their ass kicked for doing it. But, I will not apologize for being all over him about this season. FIRE HIM!!!
