  1. No, that's Fla. Int'l. The team we played, Fla Atlantic, is idle this week
  2. Man, Cody has taken a lot of hits tonight
  3. He's still recovering from a back injury, so he didn't play
  4. I didn't see Gilleylen drop any balls. Helu and McNeill each dropped one in the 1st quarter, and Holt and Reed each dropped one in the 2nd quarter. Green's bullet to Reed in the 4th hit Reed's hands, but I don't think it was a very catchable pass.
  5. i thought it was sean hill? he was also one of the idiots who dressed in the volleyball drag. Ah, yes.
  6. Eight. 8. EIGHT. The number of runs given up by Nebraska in the 8th inning. Thankfully that inning is over. What a miracle it will be for the Huskers to put a dent in this 15-0 rout.
  7. 11-0. I want to puke!! When did Nihsen transfer from Nebraska?
  8. He's headed to a junior college, but should be back for the 2010-11 season HuskerExtra.com
  9. So, I just got home and tuned into the game I see that our pitching is obviously a problem, but what happened to our bats? Has Bailey or anyone else been able to get on base?
  10. Just plain ugly. It's 15-1 in the 9th. Can't believe K-State is handing us this beatdown at Haymarket Park. This game can't end soon enough. Let's hope the Huskers come through in the second game.
  11. Wow! Way to come back and get the win!
  12. Game over. Final score: 7-3
  13. NU down 7-2 in the top of the 9th
  14. Still 4-1 in the bottom of the 5th. Hauptman in to pitch. Nebraska has no hits so far.
  15. In about 45 minutes - 9 p.m. central
  16. Bottom of the 3rd, and Kerkhoff has replaced Broekmeier as pitcher. NU down 4-1
  17. Headed to North Alabama... http://www.timesdaily.com/section/sports
  18. Huskers win the second game 12-6!! (Wonder why Huskers.com shows the games as a loss?) Way to get the bats swinging! Bet the cold weather bothered Cal St.
  19. Nice win, Huskers! Great game for McCray--wonder if he had some friends and family in the crowd cheering him on today. Edwards seemed to make the most of his minutes, as well. Not trying to diminish the win, but what the hell happened to Baylor? After their good performance last year and only losing one (?) starter, I really thought they would be one of the top teams in the Big XII this year. Whatever the cause, may Baylor continue to be unimpressive in the Big XII tournament . . . .
  20. Yeah, it was Harris. Poor Cookie
  21. GAH!!! What a tough, demoralizing loss. The Huskers' missed short shots throughout the game were easy to forgive as they built an 18 point lead, but in the end, the 10-minute scoring drought in the second half and the inability to make free throws down the stretch cost them this game. Not to mention some piss-poor passing. I just hope that they can regroup and that they take all their frustrations out on K-State this weekend.
