3 1/2 c peeled, and chopped tomatoes (about 4 lg)
1 large green pepper,chopped
1 md onion, chopped
1 serrano pepper, seeded and chopped
1 jalepeno pepper, seeded and chopped
1 tb sugar
2 1/4 tsp salt
1 garlic glove, minced
3/4 tsp ground cumin
1 can (16oz) tomatoe paste
1/4 c white vinegar
2 tb lemon juice
In a large saucepan, combine the ingredients, mixing well. Bring to boil. Reduce heat: simmer, uncovered for 1 hour, stirring frequently. Cool to room temp, cover and refrig. Serve chilled with chips.
