Do you really need to recruit the "top" players ? Or could he just recruit kids in the lower ranks and "coach them up?" If the kid will do anything for you then you got half the problem licked. What was TO's avg. recruiting class 17 18 20 in the country? Look at some of the total wash outs that have fluncked in the college ranks.

I'm not anti-Frank. I like the guy. He's a Real Husker. He just wasn't the guy we needed as our Head Coach. He had some glory during his tenure, but most of that occurred because of the T.O. players. I think that if Frank had the same amount of time T.O. had he'd have figured it out. But when he was fired our house was not in good shape. When Solich was fired we were 9-3. If my ciphering is right, that is better than any of Callahan's seasons. It was also as good as many of Osborne's or Devaney's seasons. Solich was fired because Pederson, along with many boosters and fans (including some of you out there), thought we needed some kind of high-flying aerial circus of an offense to be more exciting. If it's broken, fix it. If it's not broken, leave it alone. Many of you out there got what you asked for , and now have what you deserve. Would it have been easier to fix what was wrong with Solich or fix what is wrong now?? Solich and BO could have done much better than 9-3 if that piece of sh!t Pederson would have kept his greasy fingers out of it.

I like Rose. He does seem to have a genuine love for what he does. I also think he would do much better with a different "color" man. Adrian Fiala is not my favorite. Gary Saddlemier was much better . Fiala always seems to stumble over himself, then cannot finish his thought before the next play happens. Rose could do better without the quirky comments that make him sound like a poor version of Dennis Miller.

I read alot of posts and it seems to me as "husker nation" we are now "happy" with the players do not quit till the game is over. We are "happy" that we were able to score a few points against a 19-20 ranked team. We are "happy" that we went on the road and did not get humiliated on national T.V. We are "happy" that our defense gave a ''good'' effort. We are "happy" that we still have a "chance" to go to a bowl. Our expectations have really grown under this staff. After all he has done an "excellent" job!

I wouldnt say I want them to lose,but a 8-4, 7-5, 6-6, and still have to listen to BC's coach-speak about rebuilding is just killing me. Let the end come quick and painless like putting an old dog down. The season is toast anyway. If he loses a few more he cannot even think of staying. The writing is on the wall T.O. just needs to sign on the dotted line and get BC a cardboard box. However for some strange reason I hope NU pounds the living tar outta the whorns.

If "ALL" athletic department employees were to be evaluated quarterly, then BC quarter must have ended right after the Nevada game. BC is lucky that this man is gone cause this quarter certainly does not merit nothing but a kick to the curb!

I had really wondered what happened to those great "blackshirts". Then I seen this pic and all of my questions have been answered. I could not imagine ANY former greats doing this. They look like they are enjoying this a bit to much. And think they could have been learning how to play defense. What a shame I am saddened by our ''BLACKSHIRTS''

The fighting between players was clear. Ask Victory. Tempers flare but two black eyes and a swollen nose seems more than just a tussle in practice. Who knows? I haven't seen a meltdown like this anywhere. This team was gutted like a fish after USC. Can anyone remember a team that has tanked like this? In its fourth year?
