  2. http://nebraska.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=...d2%26c%3d832421 I hope this isn't another Travis Lewis... I guess Stoops is going to his school thrusday. Please stay Andrew, Bo has been on you since the beginning.
  3. Sooners are going after him?!?!?!?
  4. thats too bad, but I dont know how hard our coaches were recruiting him. I think the guy they really want right now is Eric Martin.
  5. http://nebraska.scout.com/a.z?s=204&p=2&c=831667 Nebraska is the third school to show interest, and the 'Huskers have come on strong in the past week. "I really want to take a trip to Nebraska," Wade said, noting that he'd even wait past February 4th - the first day of the Signing Day period - to be able to officially trip out to Lincoln, Neb. "But there are still some things I want to know about them." Nebraska and Portland, Ore. have a connection - big Ndamukong Suh. Suh, who just announced this past week that he would be returning to Lincoln for his senior year, has been a friend to the Wades for some time. "Ndamukong and I have the same mentor and we used to train together when he was going into his senior year (at Grant HS) and I was a sophomore. We were training together at this place in Vancouver, Wash. Our mentor - his name is Joe Rollins - he spoke with Suh and I guess he said some good things about me to the Nebraska coaches, and I'm thankful that he did that for me."
  6. Ganz was on 1620 the zone the other day and said he hasnt talked to him since the game at Colorado. He also said he couldnt talk bad about him since he did give him a shot and recruited him, he did form a little bond while playing for him.
  7. well, if he wants to commit he should do it sooner rather than later. Nebraska only has 1-2 spots left and you figure Bo really wants Eric Martin and another Dline men
  8. There is a who lot of time between now and FEB 2010 Scout only lists 2 guys with offers from Texas for 2010. I'm guessing they must do offers at a junior day or something or wait until camps. I forget what they did last year. they do it after national signing day, they will have most of their class filled up before the start of the season
  9. Whoa, i guess he decommited from Texas Tech. does Nebraska have anyshot?
  10. moved from #71 to #50 in the DT rankings
  11. reevaluations, we had a few more guys today get bumped up and might gain a spot again friday
  12. Nosa Eguae Mansfield (TX) Summitt Ht: 6-foot-3 Wt: 234 lbs Schools of interest - Minnesota, Nebraska, Auburn rivals - scout - ESPN - 77grade Was committed to Colorado but reopened his recruitment, might be visiting Nebraska.
  13. bumped up to a 5.7 3star on rivals(almost 4). Anyways has this kid grown into his frame yet or is Nebraska going to have to bulk him up another 30-40 pounds.
  14. Why cant you do that this year? Put Helu in the back field with Q at the fullback, 5 olinemen, cody green at qb, Rex Burkhead and Niles Paul lined up as WR and put mike mcneal at TE. DEADLY
  15. I realize its a tough time for some people right now, but do you really think its going to stop people from paying $5-12 with free admission for kids from going to Memorial Stadium? I would anticipate a similar turn out to last year... sure we aren't breaking in a new coach, but there will be the qb battle and the season ended with a lot of excitement. Some of you guys are forgetting that it's more than just ticket fees. Some people traveled from all over the country for the spring game last year ( i know a few that came here for it ). They had to pay for food, gas, and hotels to come watch it. The people that live close will make the drive, but people who live long distances may not. I am willing to guess that around 85% of the crowd was from the Omaha and Lincoln areas and a hotel in Lincoln only cost like what 65-100 bucks a night. not that much then another 50-100 on food. Most families that travel from far away in Nebraska will make it vacation out of it.
  16. it will be sold out, i dont think the economy is that bad where people cant afford a 5 dollar ticket. Plus the team is coming off a great better than expected season and people will want to see how the team progresses from year one to year two.
  17. so what is Nebraska recruiting him as? RB/FB or a linebacker
  18. bumped up to a 3star for what its worth. good to see him getting some recognition. he averaged 10ypc last year...
  19. he will probably remain a 5.8 four star
  20. quick look, it looks like hes the #7 dual threat QB.
  21. IMO, Bo is going to go into the off season and tell all of them they are on the same level and who ever trys the hardest gets the job. Because as of right now the experience between all of them is the same....NONE except for what 4 plays for both Lee and Wit. Also I think Spano and Green are better QB's than either Lee or Witt just the other two have been in the program longer.
  22. please note, I'm not sure if this is true or not. some one just emailed it to me, trying to find out.
