This is about how I feel reading some of these posts.

Well, we invented Koolade and race track wall absorber thingys. I look forward to get a chance to even the record with Minn. one of the few teams to have a winning record against NU Those are called the "Safer Barriers" and are very important on the race track. It will be really cool to see how much more NU can help invent with the increase in funding.

I have to agree. This dismantling is really sad, but what can we do? Nebraska has to look out for themselves, no one in the Big 12 South is going to.

Cy, I graduated from Valley - hope Dowling wins. I had a horrible senior year at Valley, and have always wished I could say I graduated from Omaha Central - were I spent most of my high school career. And if ISU wins thursday, they will be undefeated only because no other Big 12 team will have played. Interesting way to think about it. But, good luck, gotta watch out for those jackrabbits.

Hate to break it to you, but there is a lot more than Cornhusker football. They may be our main team, and we may only have semi-pro (rather than big league) teams but still: Omaha Royals Omaha Lancers Lincoln Stars Omaha Beef UNO Mavericks (Hockey and Football) Creighton Bluejays (Basketball and Baseball) and NU Baseball.

Give it time, maybe they reserve that for the fall games?

I am even more pumped than I was when he was named as the Head Coach! I was listening to the post game, and one of the people (not sure who) mentioned that it appeared that Ohio State got out coached on the Defense. I would say that says it all.
