  1. Rams just fired Jeff Fisher, Jim Harbaugh seems to be high on their list
  2. He is also from Sioux Falls, SD - Nebraska is the best closest football program. Ok... I was stating that from a relationship side of things it seems very similar. Working hard for multiple years paid off. Seems very similar to the RELATIONSHIP that Cav has created in this situation
  3. Also, look how that long relationship worked out last year with Farniok. Seems somewhat similar to that situation
  4. I disagree. I feel like the quiet nature of this one may be pointing in our favor. The kid and family seem to have their priorities in place, and a good relationship with our coaches may mean more than anyone knows
  5. If he is visiting Louisville in January this says something considering Riley's new rule this year that commits can't visit other schools during the month of January. I guess that either means he doesn't intend to sign with Nebraska or the coaches have told him that he doesn't have a guaranteed spot and that's why he is looking around but keeping Nebraska in the picture. Riley's new rule?
  6. Sounds like only constant is that everyone seems to think Nebraska is in it...that's a good sign
  7. Wonder if coaches cooled on him and are looking for someone who can make a more immediate impact?
  8. Hmm...he hasn't taken a job as a head coach yet. Most of the attractive HC jobs are filled. HCMR said that once the 10th assistant is approved they would like to add an offensive assistant and he has proven that he will shell out the money to hire the best. I think everyone just assumes it's Tavita's job, but I like to keep an open mind. His son is joining the squad next year. I'm not usually conspiracy theory guy but....
  9. http://www.azdesertswarm.com/recruiting/2016/12/3/13825320/arizona-wildcats-football-recruiting-donte-williams-departure-impacts-2017-class-johnson-huskers "Four-star running back Nathan Tilford has been a big concern for Arizona fans since he took an unofficial visit to Nebraska a while back. While Williams certainly helped, Football Analyst Miguel Reveles has played a huge role in Tilford’s recruitment, along with running backs coach Calvin Magee. I have also been told that Nebraska has backed off of Tilford for the time being, with the desire to flip USC commit Stephen Carr now. The Nebraska staff feels optimistic that they can do so."
  10. If Dontre Williams can only get one of the Cali guys who would you pick? I'm going to go with Holmes...
  11. Even if we get some higher rated players to join, this could be the gem of the class
  12. Had a good feeling on him for a long time. Not sure why, just feels like he's coming our way. And that was before the Williams hire
  13. Gotta think the Williams hire helps us here. We need corners like this to go with Lamar Jackson
  14. Not sure which would be a bigger pickup, him or Sarell...both would be HUUUGEEE
  15. So we already visited Greg Johnson? W/O DWilliams?
  16. Sarell Shelvin Lewis Holmes Slade-Matautia Graham Johnson
  17. Not quite. Multiple times receivers had 3-5 yards on the db's and the qb just didn't execute. Can't fault a coordinator for lack of execution on plays that worked the way they were designed to. Also, can't fault a coordinator for deciding to throw 40 yards down field when another receiver running a crossing route is wide open. Plays are called by people who understand the game (not someone who just watches where the ball goes on a tv screen), they have to be executed by players.

  19. Indiana is a tough out in Bloomington. They frankly should have beaten both Michigan and Ohio State at home last year. Although it's a different team this year and will not be an intimidating environment, they tend to play well at home. This is also a much improved football team. This team is not the Indiana that many casual fans think of. This team has gotten much better under Kevin Wilson. As far as losing to Wake Forest, they almost put up 700 yards of total offense but were doomed by 5 INT's. They should be a 4-1 football team and should demand our full attention.
  20. I feel strongly that its the guy in your avi. They were chumming it up pretty good at the Illinois game, and he's a fellow wideout he would likely room with
