But since you have said you are going to Nebraska we dont know that you are committed to us so we wont draft you until the 7th round. That is true. If they are concerned that he really wants to go to college and play different sports, it could knock him down a few rounds and could be enough to get him less money from a MLB contract and therefore push him to go to college at Nebraska.

There was a special July version of Big Red Wrap Up tonight and Sean Callahan thought that Green would be a Husker. He also said that it could become more interesting if Malcolm Brown decided to go somewhere other than Texas and therefore made Texas push more for Green. Would make it a tougher fight. Lets just hope we can get him in Red like he is meant to be!!!!

Osborne used to use the Kickoff Classic and Coaches Classic as a stepping stone when he thought he had a team worthy of playing for a NC. P state in 83 and WV in 93 for example. True but still only a couple of instances where we did do that, it didn't happen that often. I am sure it could happen because there are instances we do break away from the normal schedule but I dont think we will do it. With Washington being a BCS conf team and both Fresno state and wyoming made bowl games last year. I think we add a easy gimme type come to complete the OOC schedule. Just my opinion.

As much as I would like to see the Huskers kick the crap out of Spurrier again, I dont see this happening. Like it was mentioned in the thread about playing LSU in 2011, we usually play a BCS team, a upper non bcs team, mid level non-bcs team and then a lower level non-bcs team. I just dont see us adding another BCS conference team especially in a year we are geting situated to a new Big 10 schedule.

+1 I just dont see that happening with the way we normal schedule teams. I would expect us to add a easy game in that spot since we already have the BCS opponent and 2 decent non-bcs opponents. I would except to add gimme game so to speak.

I agree, anyone who says black is gets a huge , its red and if the other team wears red to then ok. You always wear red always always always. I never wore black for the blackouts when i was a student because its stupid, end of story. Yea, I always hated that too when I was a student when they tried to do a b*******. Only some people did it and it just looked crappy having a half red half black student section and the rest of the stadium was red.
