I wouldn't have been upset to have Missouri in the Big Ten, but clearly this wasn't ever going to happen. Not sure why, but Delany does NOT want them. Geographically this puts the Big Ten into a bit of a corner. There aren't many connected schools worth adding right now. Perhaps contiguous footprint isn't a big deal anymore, though.

This statement says much more about you than it does about Creighton. Creighton Law School, Class of 1985 Has it been your experience that people generally know that Creighton exists, outside of basketball conversations? I can tell you that I've traveled across this country and when I tell folks I'm from Nebraska, Creighton never, ever comes up in conversation. It's just a small school. It's unsurprising that it's not as well-known as UNL. Heck, my dad graduated from Midland. I bet 95% of the people posting here have no idea where Midland is, or that it even exists.

Sadly, they don't let me control what sections/forums we have on HuskerBoard. If they did you can bet we'd have a Husker Volleyball forum again, like we did in the past. I'm still in mourning that the VB forum went away.

Regarding respondeat superior, if I'm the plaintiff's attorney I'm definitely making the allegation that the employee was defending the store/fellow employees from harm. I think you're going to see that brought up because the women were on the other side of the counter. Now, since I had to go to Wikipedia to refresh myself on what respondeat superior entails, I'm open to an explanation how that won't work. But that's the angle I'm taking if I'm their counsel - the money isn't coming from the employee, it's coming from Mickey D's.

This place looks horrible from the outside. I've never eaten there. Just the way it looks scares me away. Don't they serve loose meat sandwiches, basically sloppy joes? Or am I thinking of a different restaurant? Is it clean in there? From the outside it looks pretty bad.
