Yep, agree with this. Also with LaVonte David coming into the mix and a greater use of the Peso, I'd imagine there are going to be some names we're expecting to hear a lot but won't hear much about this year. We have a lot of good guys not starting this year.

As far as I know. A friend of mine just had a final on Tuesday. Well, there's a pretty plausible excuse right there. Is this a story because he's a quarterback? Prince missed Big 12 media days and didn't get this much concern. Weird.

That thing would scare the bejeeezus outta me. I'd probably have a full-blown conniption if I saw one that big. I kill crane flies that get in the house and scare the wife, but they're not even half that size - which is still quite big for a bug that looks like a mosquito.

I'll get worried when he shows us he's a star and then he's not around. At the moment he's just another freshman with a lot of potential. We seem to have quite a few of those guys right now. Say we lose TMart. We fall back on a Sr. and a Sophomore with quality game experience, and a true freshman who may just be the next Big Deal. Not to mention LaTravis Washington who I would love to see get a bunch of reps in a Wildcat, not to mention Kellogg and (if possibly healthy) Spano. We're not hurting at all at QB right now, and while I would hate to see the guy leave... the only person he'd be hurting is himself. That said, I think this is a pretty baseless rumor. Near as I can tell, a guy on another message board got a text from a friend, and that's how this all got started.

The irony here is, of course, that they hung more points on us in one game than any other team. Self- I noticed that, too. I guess the only "consolation" in that game is that the team who holds the record is Kansas, not Texas Tech. It may be a tiny, tiny ray of sunshine, but it's something. Even the sun shines on a dog's ass once in a while. Yep. It was a combination of the best team they've had in over a decade combined with the worst team we've had in about four decades. A perfect storm.

zoogies is most likely basing that off of TMart's Spring Game, which was pretty impressive. And I'm sure he knows all about the long list of Spring Game stars who have fallen by the wayside during the season, but it's still a fair point. Shrug...maybe I misunderstood:P Yeah well.... Um.... Exactly what I envision from David. There are so many similarities between these two. How sweet would it be to have a Farley-like LB on this D? That happens, & there's no question this year's Blackshirts rival the Suh-led team of '09. Oh & I gotta say I was surprised to hear so many guys on this board say David would have to redshirt before getting on the field officially. Did ya'll say that because we already have so many LBs? I mean what gives? Have you seen the footage of this guy in JUCO? This ain't no shlub - there's a reason our coaches targeted this guy so heavily. My prediction - Lavonte is gonna be one of our biggest contributors as a Blackshirt by season's end, up there with Prince, Crick & Gomes. We have a ton of Soph. LBs, I would really like to see Martin redshirt this year, since we have David (Jr.), Fisher, Compton, and Whaley, all pretty competitive. Wow....can you believe that? That's a boatload of HUGE young talent! Every one of those guys could excel. Thank you Bo!!! And they'll come in very handy in a more smash-mouth league in the Big 10.

I've been close enough to shake Alex's hand twice, and he looks pretty scrawny. It's amazing to me that he can generate that much force from that wiry body. But it doesn't really matter if he's 115 or 315 lbs as long as he can play his position.

That kid isn't eating McDonald's. He's promoting it. That's Grimace. How sick and sad is that picture I believe I would consider this as borderline child neglect. Look as his fat little brother next to him. This kids parents need to sit that boy down and feed him right rather than constant fast food. The poor kid will be 300 pounds by the time HS comes around and be laughed at over and over. Some people need to get a license to be parents. Well, at least that kid will never feel like the Lone Ranger. Go to any Walmart in the USA and see endless women the size of garages loading up on chips and pizzas. And doing it while riding a store scooter.

They'll rotate out when it's their turn to come to the front row and a hitter will take their spot. Then when that setter cycles through the back row she'll come out, replaced by a hitter, and the hitter who came in to replace her comes out. A 6-2 ensures that you always have three hitters in the front row, which is an advantage against a team playing a 5-1, where you have five hitters and a setter, with the setter going to the front. In those instances you only have two hitters, making blocking decisions easier.

Seriously - what the hell is the fascination with this idiot's quote? He's never won anything. He knows nothing about what it takes to be a champion. Are we trying to look cool or are we trying to win championships? I'm going to look for championships, personally.

Harvey and Dr. Tom specifically mentioned that we wouldn't receive a full revenue distribution until a "later date", the ESPN\Big Ten contract runs through 2016, so 2017 makes a lot of sense. And they've never said they didn't think that we would have to pay something, they just said it would be innapropriate. Like Harvey and Tom, I'm not saying that we won't have to pay anything, I'm saying I think there are grounds for Nebraska to pay nothing. And I know what they said about later dates, but I haven't been able to find anything concrete on it. If you find a link, be sure to share. I've been looking for something in print and can't find it.

Did you watch the Spring Game? Martinez showed stuff we haven't seen here in a while.
