  1. Hearing good things about Dillard from this morning's breakfast. Papuchis had this to say about P-Dilly: Plenty of good stuff from the breakfast in Rosenthal's article.
  2. Twit Split As in, "That twit Witt split and I don't give a s__t."
  3. Before you posted the thread title said "Win 150" and mentioned nothing, not in the title or the OP, that it was for SELLOUT 150. But you continue to go off all half cocked if you want to. Why take an attitude with the guy? Why take an attitude with me? I didn't rip on the OP, just voiced confusion.
  4. A lot of what you're saying can be chalked up to "it's early." I anticipate a pretty big snoozefest for both teams this weekend, and a lot of fun in two weeks.
  5. Yep. This is typical human behavior, and it's translated over to the Internet. It's understandable. Welcome to the board, Mr. Tigerfan. Fro Daddy is the first Tiger fan I've spent any time talking to, and now recently Tiger Tim. If you're half like these two you'll be fine here. Root for your team, have fun, and get ready for some jabs back and forth.

  7. I've always hung out under the 180 overpass just west of the stadium. Lots of fun there and some pretty good people.
  8. Missouri in a walk. That's what I want to happen and what I think will happen. Nevada is a paper tiger. Missouri are real Tigers. RARH!!!! MU 52 NV 13
  9. I'm guessing, but I think he's saying SELLOUT #150 was a win vs. UCLA. Could be wrong, though. Maybe it was TO's 150th win?
  10. While flattering, I haven't seen much from CFN that makes me have much respect for them. Their recruit rankings leave lots to be desired, and their polls are... odd.
  11. I'm a big fan of Matt O'Hanlon.
  12. Griffin has to write a sports blog pretty much every day, right? It's nearly impossible to write that much and not say something negative about every single team in the conference you cover. Just try writing five paragraphs about the Big XII every day from now until the end of bowl season. Five paragraphs, and see if you don't say something that someone somewhere will perceive as negative. Then go back and reread what you wrote. If you write nothing at all negative, I wonder how realistic you would find even your own blog. That's what Griffin is up against. It's a stiff chore.
  13. The guy has one a little over one season under his belt as an HC. what do you expect? even seasoned coaches mismanage the clock from time to time. I haven't seen the perfect coach yet. I expect him to be learning on the job. You and I are saying the same thing here.
  14. This is Bo's second year ever as a HC, so while a lot of your points are valid, I think it's to be expected from a guy still getting his feet wet in running the show. Wats should be better at getting the plays in, and I would say he's better than he was under Callahan, but there's still room for improvement. Overall I like the direction we're going, but certainly there's room for improvement.
  15. Baylor is VT light. They don't have the same RBs VT has, the same OL or DL VT has, or the same WRs that VT has. The only thing they have that is comparable to VT is Griffin/Taylor. If we minimize Griffin like we minimized Taylor, we beat Baylor handily.
  16. Wow. That's a lot of misplaced hatred you've got going on there. Misplaced? Misplaced.
  17. Wow. That's a lot of misplaced hatred you've got going on there.
  18. Who's arguing? I'm asking for evidence. Lighten up, Francis. Where in Omaha did you see this? I've never heard of this being painted in Omaha, only the rumored one out in rural NE.
  19. And you know this because.... ? I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just wondering why you say it happened because I've never seen any evidence of the incident.
  20. Just to make sure I follow, there is no evidence of this being done at all or just no evidence that it was definitely Husker fans? Not sure. I've never seen this sign, or a picture of this sign, or news articles about this sign, and I've searched and searched and searched for it. The only place I've ever seen it discussed as fact was on Buff message boards, and one person here (forget who) who said they saw it. Regardless of whether there's evidence of it actually happening, there's ZERO evidence about who did it. Heck, it could have been KSU fans trying to stir up trouble. Pinning this on the Husker fan base is pretty flimsy. It wouldn't last a second in any kind of court.
  21. The sign was painted by NU fans. The sign was painted by CU fans attempting to cast aspersions on NU fans. The sign was painted by Elvis when he landed in his space ship. The sign was painted by mermaids who took that left turn at Albuquerque. The sign evolved that way in the wild. There is no sign. Take the Blue Pill. You know what all of these things have in common? Without witnesses or any kind of evidence, they're all equally likely to be true.
  22. I agree that our O Line probably isn't as good as 'Bama's yet, but they are MUCH improved over recent seasons. If they continue to develop they'll be a fine unit during conference play. Our D Line is hard to figure. We've seen great things from Suh and some good things from Crick, but I only recall one or two plays being made by either Pierre or Turner. I was expecting MUCH more from our ends. Maybe it's a scheme thing... ?
