KSU and Baylor are our only winnable games left. Bo better clean house over the winter and get these loser players out of here. I knew it was just a matter of time before OLDMAN would come on here bumping his gums.....come on dude, "loser players"? Classy I haven't seen any "GOOD" players on this team. None of them would ever be first team on say a Mizzou , Texas or Okla . Its like they say , you can dress up a PIG but it's still a PIG. Glad to see we are all behind our players during this tough transition....

Completely understand, there is always someone out there to spoil it for everyone. I have sniffed around other message boards and there is always someone from another team spouting their mouth off where it does not belong, where it would ruin it for other people to put in their 2 cents. Nice work

It might have hit you wrong, i think all he was saying is that there are not a lot of KSU posters here, and from what i can tell the fans from other schools get treated pretty well around here. Try to catch some of Cy the Cyclones stuff, pretty good. From what I can tell is the huskerboard and the mods run a pretty good system, and when it all comes down to it, this is all in good fun. For me anyway

Can't say that i read anybody on this thread that are saying we are going to kick the red raiders a**. Just like the heading i put on this topic, time to stop crying over spilled milk, last night was last night, last week was last week, hell last year was last year. A lot of the posts here are very negative and that is the posters right, just trying to bring some optimism Call it or what ever you want, but we are 3-2 and I am not throwing in the towel yet.

The team that played yesterday, of course not, but you do not play the same team every week, nor do you prepare the same every week. I did not say we would win, but honestly why not? ISU almost beat Kansas yesterday, are we going to lose to ISU too?

Also-- Every time we play Tech they have a high powered offense, and of course a suspect "D" I do think this could be close game, Tech is not invincible, but of course i am not going to come out and say that they will hang 70 on us again! We have had 2 weeks of adversity, lets see it we get a wake up call and start playing some football come saturday!!

Valid point. I think beating Nebraska is still big for programs and even when we are crazy down they relish taking us to the woodshed. If this is what payback feels like then I'm done with it. ehhe Exactly, say if we lose at ISU this year, believe me, Ames will be like they just won the NC.

I will say it takes "nads" to run your mouth at someone else's home, but I do believe that there is a common theme around college football is that you either love or hate NU, there is no in between. Living in Iowa I aways catch grief for not being a Hawkeye fan, and that if you live in Iowa it is your birthright to hate NU, by the way Iowa is the "CYCLONE STATE". Anyway like i said before, most of the people that tend to do this basically has it in bedded in their mind that they are to hate the Huskers, because when it is all said and done, they only wish they could be fans of one of the greatest programs ever!!!

Games are won and lost in the trenches and right now are offense is sputtering because our line can't control anything for a play to progress.

They are ok, not good. Last night they were just overmatched, mentally and physically, the lineman accounted for some major penalties that stalled the offense, not to count for a lot of missed blocking assignments.

They brought their A game no doubt, what did they have 1 penalty?? Very sharp, and ugh....well coached

It was bound to happen, what team wouldn't want to gun for a program like NU. I am not speaking for anybody, but a lot of people forget how bad Oklahoma got in the 90's before Stoops, yes Husker fans, it was worse than we are now. Every team goes through cycles and we need accept that it is our time. If teams get the chance they will definitely hang points on the board, nuff said

O-Line is sad, they are not getting better, i don't know how many times i saw them get completely manhandled, then when we are getting some momentum one of them gets a penalty to kill everything. A lot of people can point fingers at the coaching stuff for a lot of what if's, but there game plan completely gets thrown out the window when you have guys playing as bad as they all did. Plain and simple we got beat by a VERY GOOD MIZZOU team, as much hatred that gets thrown around they do deserve respect right now. There is a lot ball left to play lets see how this team reacts to adversity and builds off it in the next couple of weeks to start turning things around. GBR!!!
