Ran across some rankings for this years potential top 100 draft picks-http://collegefootball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=851322 No Husker made the list, which basically tells me that ol' Callahan and the boys really did a number on progressing the talent with some of these kids. With all of the highly touted recruiting classes that we had during the Callahan Era it would have been nice to see that some of the guys that came in with him would leave with the NFL in their sights. I am sure the current staff will get them on the right track, and instead of automatically promising them the NFL, make them earn it for NU first.

Is it just me or did the only thing KSU gained with Jucos was a real crappy Juco football team??? Thank the football gods that Freeman did not come to NU.

I look at this game like last year vs WF, start out slow and shaky and then control the game on both sides to pull it out. First big test for the boys, lets see how it plays out

nothing wrong with an outsiders opinion, look at Mizzou's and CU's message boards, there are Husker fans all over those. Not everyone can be as slick as CY though

I have been checkin out this board for the last couple weeks and finally thought it was time to put my opinion on Bo. If you check out Stewart Mandels recent mailbag @ SI.com he runs down the whole Pelini LSU situation and brought up a pretty good point. He starts by saying that Pelini is one of the best assistant coaches out there, but there has got to be a reason he has not been a head coach at the D1 level yet. I am not a Pelini hater but i don't know if he is the answer to all our prayers anyway. Great leader, but is he ready to turn this thing around?!
