  1. If Oregon wins out I think KU is the only team that could jump over them (provided they too win out).
  2. ACC - Virginia over BC SEC - LSU over UGA Big XII - KU over OK Big 10 - Michigan over Ohio St Pac 10 - Oregon over ASU Big East - WVU over Cincy WAC - Boise State over Hawaii
  3. Haven't we had enough with the "Offensive Genius" type? If San Diego doesn't like theirs, they can have ours!
  4. As divided as Husker Nation has been, I think we are reunited again with wanting this coaching staff gone. As for who's next - I have all the faith in the world TO will find the right guy.
  5. Is anyone else concerned what will happen by going to 65-70 NE schools next week? I am just hoping that they are not going to offer a boat load of walk-on positions to anyone who will talk to them. Just to flood the next coach with a bunch of kids he has to send packing.
  6. I think Ganz is capable of a performance similar to the one White had last night, but with BC at the helm we'll never know. As soon as Ganz showed he was capable of it last week BC called plays to keep him in the pocket. BC is not going to let this team win unless it is his way.

  8. I am not trying to debate what style of offense we should run, or fits our talent the best. All I am saying is I don't think it is the correct way to judge who will be a good coach.
  9. All of the QB's you listed have coaches that recognize their ability and call plays to exploit it. Yes, even Fran.
  10. I for one hope that TO does not choose a coach for the style of offense they run, but rather for their ability to lead, coach, and mold their players into great football players. Do you really think TO cares if we go back to an option offense? I sure hope not.
  11. But I think it would be much easier to come back faster at NU. LSU, FLA, aren't going away, ALA will only get stronger under Saban, AUB will stay a constant strength. KU, an MU will always be up and down. There is no real strong front runner in the North anymore.
  12. I believe we easily have the talent to be 8-2 or 9-1. Our coaches are not getting the most out of the talent we have, and they're not fielding the best talent we have. I have never seen anyone do nothing more than dive on a pile than McKeon, that's all he does, it's attitude. A good coach would have these guys knocking people around.
  13. TT isn't going anywhere. NO ONE is going to pay the $$ he wants.
  14. I think the 2 best offers BO will get is Ark and NU. I would hope the fact that we have the opportunity nearly every year to play a Conf. Champ game gives NU a huge advantage. Ark at best is 4th or 5th in the SEC.
  15. When the dust settles the recruits that are left standing are the ones who want to play NU football. They know it is a great program and want to be part of a winning tradition.
  16. Bo will be available after the SEC championship game. An Asst coaches will almost always leave before bowl games to move to a HC position.
  17. He smiles b/c of all the 0's that will be on his check when he leaves.
  18. Cally is the highest paid OC in CFB. He calls the plays, that it, he does nothing to fire up this team on either side of the ball.
  19. He is sure racking up the frequent flyer miles to Lincoln.
  20. This is not the same boat. If Fran had not been caught with his secret newsletter, he would not be on the hot seat. His coaching/results have not fallen into the toilet from prior years.
  21. An offensive minded HC will always favor one style of offense. A good one can make adjustments to that style, but will never get away from it. A D minded HC always has making his D better, against any style of O. If you hire a D minded HC, and he doesn't like the O he'll find a new OC or make the one he has change.
  22. Just for arguments sake. We will say BO will be the next HC. I believe this means LSU plays their bowl game w/o him. MNC or not, whoever the next HC will be the team he is with now, will be without him for their bowl game.
  23. For me - It all starts on defense. Remember when we used to defer 'til the second half just to get our D on the field and punch the other team in the face? We always had a simple offense that managed to put points on the board, but our D is what gave us our momentum, and kept it. I believe it gave our O some fire as well. We have an "Offensive Minded" HC, and it is NOT working. I would love to see our D punching people in the face again, and I feel BO is the man that can make this happen.
  24. I really dont think the 4 and 5 star recruits are whats important here. How many of our starters in 95 or 97 where recruited as 4/5 stars? TO knows if you have a coach that the players will put it all out for you dont need the stars. I really do not see any announcement coming before the last conference champ game is played. However we will hear something before the bowl games.
  25. I do not believe there is a miracle big enough. The only way it would work IF he agreed to give up play calling and replace Coz and Co is if he were a long standing honored coach (i.e Bobby Bowden). The only positive relationship he had with anyone at NU was Peddy. HE'S GONE!!!
