  3. Bo had a few followers tonight at the mens basketball game.
  4. I wish him all the best, he came here to play and did a good job with everything else going on around here even if you don't think he was the right guy for Nebraska.
  5. Its a main reason because he knows him well and he knows he is capable of being a good coach here. Remember the last time our head coach hired his childhood buddy?
  6. What good are Hugs and Kisses?..This is Football I don't remember too many Hugs and Kisses while he was here
  7. Player: Josh Jenkins Hometown: Vienna (WV) Parkersburg Pos: G Ht: 6-foot-3 Wt: 282 lbs Forty: 5.2 secs Bench reps: 20 Vertical: 24 inches Shuttle: 4.62 secs GPA: 3.5 Ranking/Stars: Rivals: Scout: Odds of becoming a Husker? I have no idea, just stumbled upon this when I was reading about the michigan/wvu coaching changes and it said hes now a soft verbal to wvu when he was solid before. Also according to scout he has a Nebraska offer and medium interest here.
  8. Oregon-Nebraska will be on FSN (and ESPN Full Court) after all....... we need the place to be packed with a good crowd. Please go if you have the opportunity people!
  9. Didn't see this posted anywhere else, maybe im blind because im suprised it hasn't been posted yet. EDIT: Nevermind, i just noticed I wasnt in this sub-forum so my topic wasnt moved yet. From 10/11 Website Just one day after Bill Callahan's firing, the search process for his replacement is well underway... BO PELINI: 10/11 Husker Insider Sean Callahan has confirmed that a plane owned by Nebraska booster Richard Robinson took off from Lincoln en route to Baton Rouge this afternoon and that NU interim athletic director Tom Osborne was on-board and will talk with Pelini Sunday night. TURNER GILL: Also, Osborne has been given permission to interview Turner Gill. This according to an interview conducted by the Buffalo News with the University of Buffalo athletic director Warde Manuel. That interview -- Manuel said -- would likely take place within the next few days. PAUL JOHNSON: It should also be noted -- the 10/11 sports department spoke on the phone with Navy associate athletic director Scott Strasemeier who said to his knowledge - Midshipmen head coach Paul Johnson **has not** been contacted about the Husker head coaching job.
  10. I went to that scrimmage thing this year and last year and its amazing to see how much our team has changed in the last two years. Doc really works the kids a lot harder and he has a lot of talent this year too so I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night for our first exhibition game. BE THERE!
  11. If they call him. lol I was kidding, im new to these boards and thought id test the waters and see how fast rumors actually got started on these things. Thought maybe id show up for work tomorrow and hear someone talking about it Still though I think he has to have a good idea that Pelini is a good candidate to take the reigns next year and could've made some impact on his decision.
  12. curious how good you think we are, Rivals.com had nebraska down somewhere around 46th on their preseason rankings if I remember right
  13. I heard that he was promised by TO that Pelini will be taking over, thus leaving LSU off the list to come to Nebraska.
