  1. The Broncos also picked up JJ Arrington from the Cardinals.
  2. Miami's LOI did expire, but "Brian Butler" did report that Miami still wants him.
  3. Wish the best for him where ever he goes. With the amount of bodies at that position, I figured someone would be leaving.
  4. Wouldn't worry about Butler being his "handler" in this case. Bell is a great kid, comes from a very good family that has lots of experience in college & pro football. The family will be taking the lead in his recruiting, you won't see the same this as what we've seen from Bryce Brown.
  5. Making the trip up. My 3 & 7 year old get so mad when I go to games without them so I figured this one would be the one to take them too. $10 a head is manageable. Can't wait for the usual game weekend blitz, Sidetracks, Embassy, Barry's.
  6. Trolling on Facebook to find dirt on people. I can see it now, especially with the South Carolina police looking into filing charges against Michael Phelps. Cops will no longer cruise the streets, they will surf the net looking at Myspace and Facebook, arresting the true criminals. This guy is a joke.
  7. And the whole time I just thought it was their football team that stunk.
  8. No, I think you're right, I don't think it'll be easy..but certainly doable. As far as our big 12 schedule goes next year, the team that really, really, scares me is Baylor. Look, we all know Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and Va. Tech for that matter, are going to be loaded..it's a given. But these Bears I think are going to be a bit of a sleeper. I think we will be ready for them, at least I hope we are, but taking them lightly could be a mistake. Especially playing them at Baylor. Our schedule next year is BRUTAL! At V. Tech, at Missouri, at Baylor, at KU & at CU. Not that our home games are really easy (OU, T. Tech).
  9. I was pleased with the Clemson O-Coordinators decision to continue to try and run the ball over and over, not sure why he did it. With their receivers' size and speed, they could have passed all day on us. I was sh**'n my pants the last drive when they were going right down the field on us. Thank God Pelini dialed up the pressure and Hagg came from out of nowhere to finish the game. Great game by both teams, looks like the right people are running both teams.
  10. Would rather have FSU, for the past. They haven't finished the season on too good of a streak, plus with they way they're suspending players, they'd be awfully short handed. Clemson is hot right now, their interim coach got the interim label removed and is now the man. I would see Clemson as the harder game right now.
  11. I'm right there with you. Yes, we'll be better and deeper on Defense, but have some question marks on offense. The thing that scares me is our schedule. At V-Tech, at KU, at MU, at CU, at Baylor, sure we get OU at TTech at home, but those aren't gimmies. We may take a step back from 8-4, but be better.
  12. Saw this live when it happened, anywhere else in college football I wouldn't have believed that just happened, but it is sCUm, doesn't surprise me.
  13. I'd hardly call that worse considering Larry enforces a horrible stereotype. I don't know, Larry never showed up at an NU football practice in whitey-tighties and an Iron Man costume.
  14. Right with you there, my 3 year old get's pissed off when I go back for a game and don't take him. I can understand how it might not be seen as a family type deal anymore. I would love to take my 2 kids to games, but 4 tickets, plus travel, hotel and most importantly booze, hits the pocketbook pretty hard. They do have a great time at the spring game though.
  15. Thats one thing I dont like about stadiums trading grass for field turf, its not as much fun sacking the qb all day when he still looks clean when the game is over. I hear ya, the little black pellets of rubber just aren't the same as seeing Danny Weurful or Peyton Mannings jersey covered in grass stains like we saw when the Blackshirts of the 90's made them our b**ches.
  16. Hilarious....I'd love to see NU in the Gator Bowl, I'd be going. The Gator Bowl has a tie in with Notre Dame first, but the "experts" are saying they might pick a 8-4 Nebraska team on a 3 game winning streak over Notre Dame. Not too likely they'd pick a 6-6 KU team on a losing streak.
  17. Personally, I liked KU & KSU's quarterback's uniforms, how they had the turf stains all over the back side of their uniforms.
  18. Mark May is a TOOL! And yes, I would say that to his face. But, you're right. Very true but did you hear May talk about Pelini possibly being up for big 12 coach of the year I was shocked I didn't hear that from May, I did hear that from D'Marco Farr on FSN
  19. I'd love to see the Gator bowl as well, just to stick it to Notre Dame by the bowl picking us rather than them.
  20. That is sweet! It is also possible that Prince gave up on him as well. Prince sold his soul to Freeman...he was probably just "protecting" him, since he's the only player on the team Prince cares about or talks about
  21. Funniest part was Coffman, both against Missouri & us moved the ball better than Freeman
  22. I'd say we'll take a knee. And you're right...interesting game GO BIG RED chant sounds like a home game!!! Great win, other than a couple mishaps on Special Teams and D, they're offense didn't do anything.
  23. I saw in a Art/Framing shop in the Wichita Mall a huge framed picture of Crouch looking backworkds.....typical of KSUcks fan
  24. Couldn't agree more....look at our schedule....V-Tech is a top 20 team...MU #4, TTech #7, OU #1, KU #16. I wasn't planning on going through that undefeated, or even .500. I was hoping to sneak 1, maybe 2 W's out of there. We need to take care of business with the remainder of the schedule....Iowa State, Baylor, KState, Colorado....Those 4 games are the keys that can get us into a bowl, and be a spring board for next year.
