  1. The Koolaid Sipping Command Posts "commit" list is now down to 17--that means there are still about 6 left to bolt. I say let 'em leave and pull their offers if they're taking visits...and knock 'em off the "commit list" ASAP.
  2. No use cowering before the mighty 5* and their bloated ego. They have made their move (by visits)-- now NU should make their move and yank his offer. Make an example of him by showing that NU will not be taken for a ride by these jokesters and no one recruit or any amount of stars will make NU beholden to these types. Knock him outa here!
  3. We are best rid of these future Callacancers...Bo can replace them with his own brand of recruits in the future. Many of these would probably not pan out anyway--just like so many of the past Callacruits, nothing but a bunch of unproducing stars and pretenders. I feel many of these "commits" were given the opportunity to remain Huskers just out of courtesy. So $ee yah and good luck with your future teams.
  4. May these wishy washy Callacruits be gone ASAP and Bo can recruit his own type of player in the future. These are the same type of recruits that became a Callacancer to the Huskers. And may the door not hit them in the ar$e on their way out.
  5. yeah, well i have had mine longer than you and Rippy did say that he was a solid commit I wouldn't consider any of the six as commits in the true sense of the word--they're uncommited commits. Knock 'em off the list and replace 'em...the sooner the better.
  6. Didn't have much interest in him last year and have even less now--it's better to just forget about him, there are still candidates out there who are as good and probably better. Sooo........ see yah and so long and good luck.
  7. Things WILL change. Your very post is the epitome of why we fired Callahan/Cosgrove. There is no "if." Plain and simple, Bill Callahan could not develop the supposed-talent he brought in. He simply assumed that his Lemming-assisted 4 and 5-Star talent would learn his NFL-style offense. A'hem...sorry Billy, you need to COACH your players. People here constantly say, "well, we had all kinds of 3-4-5 star talent....and look where that got us!" The problem here was the development of that talent. Callahan is an NFL guy. Period. He doesn't DEVELOP talent...he UTILIZES it. On a lighter note: We're currently ranked 13th on the recruiting list. This is also after Blaine Gabbert has defected on us; that dropped our ranking down. Then we have Jonas Gray...a kid I was sooo excited to have at Nebraska...de-commit. AND THEN COMMIT TO NOTRE DAME! I don't know what hurts more, a good RB de-committing from Nebraska...or a good RB committing to Charlie Weis's offense. After those two, main de-commits...we currently stand 13th on the list. Dan Hoch, lately, has drawn my eye. He visited Mizzori this weekend. We'll just have to wait and see if these recruits want to play for a consistently-great, University of Nebraska, or a flash-in-the-pan University like Missouri or Kansas. you can bet our class ranking as of december 10th 2007 will take a hit with the de-commit of shaun mohler. i dont buy into the recruiting rankings until after signing day....for these very reasons Let 'em leave...and hope the door doesn't hit 'em in the arse when they leave. We want recruits that want to play for NU--not "playas".
  8. Maybe Bo is thinking....I'm sure glad that the seniors "quiters" will be gone!
  9. If the main reason they wanted to come to NU was to play for BC and Coz, then let 'em go and replace them with recruits that want to play for NU. Wishy-washy recruits that are using their NU offer/"commitment" as a stepping stone to their preffered school would most likely leave in Jan. or Feb. anyway. Recruits that have been on the fence for a number of weeks are in the process of being replaced--so it's actually a good thing to lose the clunkers now.
  10. Great board and it's not down all the time like HP.
  11. First half of the USC game--all downhill from there (except for KSU).
  12. Anyone who enjoys negativity is welcomed to join RSS.
  13. Spelling and grammar on this board as a whole is extremely lacking. I've just learned to adapt. I'm SO glad some else feels the same way! I read a couple other boards...and there are members of this board who are the worst when it comes to spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. This isn't a "text message". This is a message board. It's hard to take anyone seriously that can't convey their message in a manor that commands some respect, and credibility. Bear in mind that if a posters "style" doesn't suit you, you can use the Ignore function to block his or her messages. There is a tutorial on its use pinned to the top of the forum. And....if any of you really enjoy negativity, you can always go to RSS.
  14. Amazingly, in stark contrast to BC, Bo (even though he was only here previously for approximately one year) summed up what is the embodiment of Husker football during this press conference. What Husker football means has never been better put to words. Bo will be a great recruiting closer.
  15. Please say it's so. BC--AKA "the joker" NEEDS to be OUTAHERE ASAP and that's no BS!
  16. I also doubt that BC allowed Ganz to call any plays except maybe audibles--he's a control freak to his own detriment.
  17. Have really only been following this site and BHF lately. "The koolaid sipping command post" seems to have little valuable info lately as many of the entertaining posters were either banned or quit and the most knowledgeable posters appear to have gone into hiding.
  18. Now even "the koolaid sipping command post" is making lists of potential new coaches after the KU debacle. The light finally comes on......oh well, better late than never.
  19. The best part of this season is there's only one game left with BC after tomorrow!
  20. A vote here for Bo Pelini because it starts with defense and he has the experience and he is able to make adjustments against the top teams in the NCAA with excellent results. And he also favors the spread offense and would most likely bring some of the former NU assistants back. Compared to Gill, he has more experience and more experience against bigtime competition. Although I like Gill, Bo's the choice because where would Gill rank as a prospective candidate if he was not a great former NU player. Don't make the mistake of bringing someone back as HC mainly because they were a great player at their alma mater. OU made the same mistake with Blake.
  21. Redemption time for KSU on Sat. Just another in a long line of teams looking to "get well on the road" against NU. KSU will come out fired up and should score on almost every series.....KSU 62 NU 21.
  22. Tolerating BC (no longer HCBC--he doesn't deserve that title) for this year has been almost intolerable. If he's retained for '08 the split in the program would almost be equal the death penalty and the slide downward would continue unabated and would take unknown additional years to be corrected. Let him take his "packages" back to the NFL or Division lll.
